Im sorry if this question has been asked before...
This may sound really sad but i have probably mad 40-50 characters on skyrim. Surprisingly I have only completed the main story line once. I have often been a thief so im am slightly bored of it. I don't want to be a mage because i find it too expensive.

I want to know what character i should be and gender. I would also like to have idea of specifics of what i should do throughout the game.

I'm thinking some sort of deadric hunter so I'll do all their quests however i do not know how to do well in this and what type of character would suit it.

What are your thoughts?

If you've played thieves and have no interest in mages, you could try warrior. They can be light or heavy armor. For weapons I prefer either a two handed weapon or a one handed weapon and a shield. Shields are actually really fun in this game. You have to time your blocking and can bash people. I think you could roleplay any style as a daedric hunter. I would recommend siding with the dawnguard if you have the dlc. You have access to weapons, spells, and armor that are strong against the undead. Gender is just personal preference. For personality I would say a daedra hunter would be a good character. Probably a very lawful person. You could have them dedicated to one of the nine divines.

Thanks alot. I'm going for a warrior khajiit. Although that's not there style i thought it would interesting. He can use a bow, sword and shield but also sneaks when he needs too.

Egglet, check this out...the chart gives you an idea of each race's specific abilities and strengths. Think those over, along with the type of character you have in mind, and it will help you arrive at which race would best suit your character.
