Ever had a moment when you think:
"He did not just say that!" Or
"Never thought I would see a dragon do that before. o_O" or...
"OMG OMG, I'm Harbinger/Guildmaster/Listener/whatevz!"
I know I have! My best moment was when I found Lunar Forge. It was midnight, rainbow auroras rippling in the night sky, and I went to raid a bandit camp with Cicero. It was Silent Moons Camp.
I cleared it and discovered Lunar Forge in the little room in the back. It was labeled as: "Use Blacksmith Forge", so I thought, "It would be a good time to craft a daedric weapon." So when I opened the Forging menu, I saw something new labeled "Lunar Forging". Curious, I crafted two Lunar Steel swords. I destroyed one to get the Silent Moons enchantment, and put the extra in a display case in Hjerim. I have to say, I LOVE the enchantment!!
So what about you? Could be funny, stupid, or something....
Just post!

Gigapact

Lollygagging Milk Drinker (according to guards)
(Random spoilers for various things)

1. When that bitch Astrid betrayed me during the Dark Brotherhood questline. That threw me for a loop.
2. The first time a giant beat the earth with his club and sent me into space.
3. When a deer I cast fury on began attacking a giant, and then that giant sent the deer to space as well. I waited and waited but the deer never came back... that was an "oh plops" moment for sure.
4. When Mercer attempted to kill me during the TG questline.
5. In Markarth, when I went into the tomb place for the priest and found that cannibal chick eating the dead bodies.
6. In the Dragonborn DLC, when Hermaus Mora killed Miraak.
7. When the blades told me to kill Parthunaax (hah, yeah right)
8. When the Jarl's little daughter in Whiterun told me she liked her meat rare. That's when I found out children were unkillable.
9. During the Foresworn Conspiracy quest, when the guards killed the dude and arrested me. That was a huge WTF moment.
10. When a mudcrab killed me on Legendary mode.
11. When I realized the game would let me be a cannibal by wearing Namira's ring.
12. When the game told me to beat a priest to death during Molag Bal's quest.
13. When I saw a guard flying into the air and then go into a dragon's mouth. Funny as plops.

Those are all I can think of at the moment! Sorry for any spelling errors on daedric princes and Parthunaax.

Those are the top few funniest things I've heard!!! Flying guards... If you could go on dates in Skyrim, that's where a guy would take me to see.... I would instantly fall in love with him. XD

My first fight with Miraak ended up being utterly hilarious because of his combat lines. I was playing on Master at the time and had used nearly all my healing potions as well as experiencing several nerfs due to a realistic needs mod as it had taken me hours in game to get there.

I went all out initially, used up all but two of my healing potions because I could see his health going down and him getting weaker so obviously my victory was imminent. Then Miraak ripped out a dragon soul and restored himself to full health. That occasion was the one and only time I have ever screamed: "WHAT?!" at a computer screen.

I ended up using all my health potions, then magic potions as he hit really hard. So combat playing hide and seek with him behind the piles of books to give my magic time to regenerate. And Miraak kept saying: "You are strong! Stronger than I believed possible!" as I was cowering behind cover and trying to heal with myself with the only restoration spell I knew, the starter one.

But that wasn't the most hilarious line Miraak said, oh no. He also said: "Hermaeus Mora is laughing at us you know." I'm quite sure he was, Miraak. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if he was dragging Shegorath and Sanguine over saying: "Guys, you have to see this! The Last Dragonborn spent ten minutes trying to heal herself with the weakest restoration spell in existence and the First Dragonborn spent those ten minutes figuring out how to run around a big pile of books, only to instantly forget this skill when the Last Dragonborn sprinted to another big pile of books!"

Incidentally, I won that fight without dying once. I've never been more proud of myself.

That must have been....
AWESOME!!! That line that Mora said made me laugh. XD
I have to finish the Dragonborn questline and give myself a laugh!

With every new character I look forward to visiting Winterhold for the first time because of the dialogue between Ranmir and his wife (from memory, so maybe not word for word, but):

"Where are you going?"
"To the inn to get a drink."
"You think that'll solve your problems?"
"Probably not, but it's worth a try!"

That line cracks me up every single time!

On very rare occasions (so rare that it's almost impossible to trigger it again in the same visit) you walk into Belethor's with your weapon out, and he says something like "you walk into a place with your weapon drawn, you may not walk back out. Unless you're here to sell that, put it away..."

Probably when I was fighting the Dragons Priest on my way to Alduin.
Why? I decided to use storm call, since I wanted to test it. Couldn't go wrong, right? WRONG.
As an Ancient Dragon and an Elder Dragon both come in to defend the Dragon Priest, I end up running for cover behind a pillar I was poking my head from behind the pillar now and again to throw some ice spears and fire some arrows. Ended up killing the dragon priest. I didn't want to use my sword, since I would get demolished quickly, so I summoned a Flame Atronach to aid me. I had ended up drinking all my health potions, and magicka. Last resort, I used beast form, charged in and killed the Ancient Dragon, and barely managed to beat the Elder Dragon with a sliver of health.

Thought I would be doomed if I fought Alduin in the condition I was in, but found out he was easy as fluff to kill. I could probably beat him with a wood axe while in my underwear.

Ikr!!!! When I entered combat with Alduin, I thought, "Oh my gosh, this is gonna be tough." Due to the creepy shouts. Lucky for me, he glitched, and he was hopping around like a lunatic that was just attacked by Chucky. He didn't breathe fire or fly or bite or anything. It was still hard though, because he WON'T STAND STILL!! It was still hilarious though xD so much for a boss on one of the best video games in the century

I so wish I could erase all my Skyrim memories so that I can feel that sense of surprise and awe at the story lines others have listed here. But, for now, I'd have to say Adventuring with Stenvar has by far been my favorite journey with a follower. He has so many lines! He's got a line for everything. He hates the cold, he thinks dwarven constructs aren't fun because they don't bleed, he talks about his mother. I've been playing Skyrim for a long time, but this is the first time I'd ever engaged him as a follower, and I only did it because I needed something new and different. He does not disappoint!

Really??? I have to hire him sometime! Interesting dialogue!!

Well, I have another one. It never ceases to amaze me to happen upon Alduin raising a dragon from a dragon mound. It just happened again, just above Rorikstead. I almost felt bad bringing that dragon down, but he died a cool death, since I shot him out of the sky.

Sounds awesome!!! That is a cool death! I know this sounds weird... But out of all the deaths my Nord character can face, she would definitely choose to be shot out the sky! And those dragon ressurections are really cool to watch.

Ooooooooooh, I have one!!!
Once I was searching a ruin to see if I can find a new dragon shout with Aela the Huntress. I was fighting a draugr death lord, and I dodged one of its blows, and instead it blew a skeleton to shreds.
I killed the Deathlord. I didn't get a shout. But funny thing is about that fight is that I was listening to "Thriller" by Michael Jackson at the same time.
That was a fight I would never forget!!!!

The prison scene during "In My Time of Need" is the only reason I ever do the quest. It's just pure gold!

There have been some instances of random NPCs showing up that are more or less unforgettable. Like when I was fighting a Storm Dragon in Stormcloak-controlled Solitude, and a Penitus Oculatus agent showed up through the side entrance - and attacked me.

I also agree that the dragon resurrections are always great, even though I know I'll have to fight the dragon in the very near future. It's fun standing on the mound when Alduin does his "resurrection Shout", because it has the same effect Unrelenting Force does. And then when you're getting up from the ground, a skeletal dragon climbs out and you go flying again.

I have to agree. The only moment when I saw a dragon be resurrected is the quest in the Main Questline when you go to a place in Windhelm hold (was it Ivarstead??) And kill a dragon that resurrects there. It was pretty cool, and the kind of fight I love and want to do over and over again!

It was Kynesgrove. The guards never stop talking about that! It is pretty cool. You hear Alduin speaking dragon as though he's cooing at a new baby.

Yeah, it is! And a love that phrase you used... "Cooing at a new baby" xD good word usage

I love interrupting the resurrections. I start swinging at them while they're still skeletal. You guys ever grab the map and start hunting them down?

I always grab the map but I've never used it. I come across the mounds all the time, but rarely at the right time. Is there a trick to that?
