Anyone else had a Draughr overlord disarm you then when you kill it your weapon isn't there? It has turned into something else? This has happend to me. Dear ole Olaf one-eye disarmed me of my elven sword of consuming and turned it into an ebony sword. Even when ebony weapons and armor don't come around till Lv. 30-ish, and I was Lv. 15 XD

I haven't had that happen, but twice, in the same dungeon I had to load to a previous save because I got disarmed and my weapon became glitched. Both times it ended up floating in mid-air and I wasn't able to interact with it at all.

Well, when I first started playing Skyrim, I flipped plops the first time this happened to me and loaded a previous save. I didn't realize what happened, and thought my weapon was gone forever.

Now, as I am a little wiser with Skyrim, I've noticed that sometimes your weapon just flies across the room and you have to go find it, instead of it being on the dead Draugr. One time my weapon flew all the way threw the double doors I went through to get to the Draugr. So I always save now before fighting the big guy at the end. If they disarm me, I immediately go look for my weapon on the ground. If I can't find it, I reload the save JUST in case it's not on the Draugr. Of course I only do this if I'm carrying a really expensive and useful weapon.

I have never, ever had a Draugr pick up a weapon it disarmed from me. The weapon is always either lying on the floor or glitched somewhere.
Deathlords and DDOs tend to carry ebony weapons, regardless of your level (you can get ebony at level 1 if you know where to look - and manage to defeat the Draugr)... they don't magically turn your weapons into anything.

On a related note, the boss chest in Bleak Falls Barrow has saved me from a Disarm more times than I care to count. So have the brazier at the top of the "exit stairs" and the Word Wall.

One of Potema's six million dragr disarmed me in her enormous throne room several times. I ended up looking at the miles of bodies and weapons lying around the enormous shadowy space before deciding life was too short to spend fifteen minutes trying to find my bow or axe of Whiterun and consigning it to Oblivion.

I'm pretty sure I've managed to find my weapon all of one time after being disarmed. The dungeon is usually too dark with too many nooks and crannies to find it. Of course, I mostly use common weapons which are easily replaced. Enchanted weapons are rarely recharged by myself. It's more about me remembering to carry a backup weapon than finding the original.

Can't say I've had my weapon disarmed, only to not be able to interact with it. Most of the time I get disarmed by the walking dead and I can't find the weapon, it just so happens to be common lower tier weapons like steel or elven so it's easily replaceable... Although I had a remarkably hard time trying to find even a steel dagger for my thief character once XD
