I have no idea why its doing this... I will be playing and it will stop me right in the middle of the game like its loading something and after about 5 seconds I can move again, I dont think this is a issue with my graphics card since its brand new and I turned the graphics down to absolute lowest setting and turned off all of my mods... can somebody help me figure out whats going wrong? Why my game is skipping like that? My default recommended settings is high and so I shouldn't be having this problem on minimum.

My PCs statistics are right here

CPU: Intel® Core™2 Quad CPU Q8200 @ 2.33GHz

Ram: 3.6 GB

OS: Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate Edition Service Pack 1 (build 7601), 32-bit

Video Card: GeForce GT 630

Disk Space: 800 GBs (( Most of its free ))

I'm not a wiz at this, by any stretch, but have you checked your autosave settings? If you go into the settings menu, it usually has it set to save every x minutes, every travel, every rest, every wait, etc. Make a good save first, then turn them all off and see how your play goes for a few. If it's smoother, then turn on the ones you want, or make a habit of using f5 every so often. If it's the same, then there's another problem. Also, how many saves to you have now? If it's a lot, try deleting all but the last three and see if it goes faster as well.

You might also go into your task manager's startup tab and make sure you don't have a whole lot of background programs starting themselves at will. Prune your saves, do a disk cleanup, and try again.

Your CPU is just to old, and too slow to handle Skyrim. I would upgrade that first off before anything else. The only problem is, the architecture has changed significantly since the core 2 duo days so you would end up needing a new motherboard, ram as well as CPU. There used to be a mod that lowered the vanilla textures even more so that low end PC's could handle skyrim, I dont know if its still around though.
