    Without a word Tali grabbed the bag of food Shadow gave her with both hands. Like a scared rabbit with a big juicy carrot she ran into a corner with the heavy bag. When she was in the shadows she faded into them and the bag faded with her. She looked inside and saw treasures beyond belief. Fresh bread, fresh apples, carrots, sealed bowels of roasted vegetables, all kinds of meat. Smoked venison, beef sausage, shredded pork, chicken legs, lamb chops, grilled salmon, beef steak. It was more food than Tali had ever seen before and its quality and aroma was only something she could only dream of. Destiny and Shadow left but Tali didn't care. She ate and ate and ate. She ate as if she'd never eat again. She'd lived off meager scraps for weeks and was down to skin, bone and shriveled stomach. She wanted to eat everything in the bag but after two big drumsticks, two apples and four big rolls Brynjolf took the bag from her.

    "What are you doing!?" She yelled, looking up to Brynjolf in disbelief. Apparently he'd been watching her since she started eating 10 minutes ago and her fade didn't protect her. Tears leaked from her face and a drop of snot came from her nose. She started coughing violently while waiting for an answer. Brynjolf saw this and uncorked a small healing potion, putting it to her lips. "Easy little lass. Drink this. You'll feel better." She swallowed the potion and her cough died down. She looked up to Brynjolf in wonder.

    "Brynjolf? You...you helped me. Why?"

    "Because you need help Tali. Your daddy didn't treat you very well and you've been a hard little lass to find since he died. Weeks ago you found a map that led here. I left that for you."

    Tali remembered that map. It was dry and crisp and she had practiced the route many times beforehand but she'd been too scared to go into the guild. "I remember that map. That was you? Why did you leave that for me to find?"

    "Again lass, you needed help. You may not realize this but I've been watching over you since your daddy died. I've left you food and other things when I could but again, you're difficult to find. I was hoping you'd try something like this sooner so we could take you in but you never did. By Nocturnal girl, you're down to skin and bones! How long has it been since you've really eaten?"

    "I...I can't remember. I've been hungry for a long time. So long that I can feel my belly with my finger if I push my back in. I've had a cough for maybe a week and I feel hot. And it's hard to move. And my hair's all gross and it's getting thin."

    She put her hood down and sure enough her long brown hair was matted, dirty and was falling out in little patches all over her head. She was so weak and hungry she looked like a corpse. Brynjolf was heartbroken. He knelt down and hugged Tali, taking her into a warm, protective embrace.

    "Oh Tali. You're on the verge of death lass. I should have come for you and I'm so sorry I didn't. I didn't know you were so bad off."

    It had been months since Tali had been hugged, far too long for a 10 year old orphan. She snuggled into Brynjolf's chest and clung to his back. "Why did you take my food? I'm hungry. I'm so hungry. I feel like I'm gonna die."

    "Because sweetheart if you eat too much in your condition you COULD die. You're starving and sick. Your body needs time to get used to eating food again. It can only handle little bits of it but you're safe now. I promise you that you will never be hungry ever again."

    Tali could barely believe what she was hearing. It was practically a godsend. "Really? Never ever again?"

    Brynjolf looked at her and gently held her face in his hands, tilting it up to get eye level with his kneeling self. "Never ever again Tali. A child as sweet as you should never starve to death. Too many do in these tunnels. In fact, you've developed some very good skills. You're very good at hiding and sneaking around and I'm impressed with how well you pickpocket."

    "But I do that stuff 'cause I have to! I don't want to do it but people have stuff I need and if I try and beg for it I get hit a lot."

    "Well that's something you won't have to do anymore either Tali. You don't have to beg anymore. In fact, how would you like to stay here? Stay with me and Vex and Shadow and all the other Guild members? How would you like to be a member of our family?"

    "Really?" Tali said, her eyes full of wonder? "Me? You want me as part of your family?"

    "I do lass." Brynjolf said with a smile.

    "Yeah! I do! I wanna be part of the family! That means Shadow and I will be brothers! He's the only one besides you and Delven and Vex that's nice to me! Does this mean I can help with family jobs?"

    "It does Tali, but we'll talk about that later. Right now you need a bath and a warm bed. You need lots of rest to get better and I've got a real bed for you in the healing chamber."

    Tali couldn't believe what she was hearing. Everything she ever wanted in life was suddenly dropped in her lap. Some of it more literal than others. She was part of a family now. A family that could take care of her and feed her and give her hugs. This was the best heist ever! She relinquished her bag of food to Brynjolf with the promise that she could have more as soon as she'd had a bath and a nap. Both were good ideas. She was full now and weak and very tired. And she stank. Brynjolf readied a hot bath for her using the same stone tub and flowery bath oils Destiny used earlier. It took an hour but he got her squeaky clean. Her skin looked better, her girl parts were clean for the first time in months and her hair was its old clean and soft self again for the first time in years. Her clothes, now down to rags, were disposed up but Brynjolf changed her into a warm, clean white nightgown. It was soft and comfy and would keep her nice and warm. Its skirt went down to her ankles and was loose without being baggy or draggy. Its sleeves went to her wrists and ended in pretty white lace. It was girly and cute and she loved it! Brynjolf gave her another healing potion to keep her cough down and tucked her into a nice warm bed. She went to sleep full, warm and happy. She was convinced it was the most comfy bed in all Nirn.

    Some time later she woke up. The room was still lit and she was still snug in bed. She looked to her left and saw Shadow sitting in a chair, watching over her. Tali gave a gentile moan and rubbed her eyes.

    "Mmmm...Shadow? Is that you? What time is it? What are you doing here?"

    The Light and Darkness Dragon
    Ace was about to go up to his room when a man, around Destiny’s age told them that they were going to Bee n’ Barb. ‘’ We have a room for one more, if you want to come with us ‘’ she proposed. Ace did not want to, but eventually he decided that he needed a break, so he accepted the offer. When they stepped outside, Destiny, along with three men and one woman were waiting for him. ‘’ What is up? ‘’ he asked. ‘ There was a change of plan ‘’ one of the boys stepped forward ‘’ I am Shadow, Destiny’s brother by the way ‘’ ‘’ Ace Wavern ‘’ he introduced himself ‘’ Phoenix ‘’ another guy introduced himself ‘’ Robin ‘’ ‘’ Ruby ‘’ the girl stepped in ‘’ nice to meet you ‘’. After they learned each other’s names, Shadow told him what the situation was like ‘ Instead of going to Bee n’ Barb, we are going to our place. Also, we decided to see what you are capable of. First test, catch up with us while going there. If you arrive last, you fail ‘’ Shadow told him. ‘’ They have no idea ‘’ Octavian commented in his mind. Ace chuckled ‘’ Challenge accepted, where is your place? ‘’ ‘’ You will follow us ‘’ ‘’ What if I am faster than you, how will I know where to go? ‘’ ‘ No one is faster than Destiny, she will always be ahead of you ‘’ They said and started running. ‘’ A race eh? ‘’ they had already vanished from his sight. Ace sniffed the air and started running as well. He did not see them, he followed their smell and it went into the woods on the outer side of Riften. When he arrived at the trees, he jumped on one and started jumping from branch to branch. After two minutes, he saw them, and he was closing in rapidly. ‘’ Where do you thing he is? ‘’ Ruby asked ‘’ He didn’t seem slow ‘’ Shadow replied ‘ I might have been wrong ‘’ ‘’ What a loser ‘’ Phoenix said. Ace smiled and jumped behind Robin who was surprised seeing him right behind him ‘’ Outta my way ‘’ he shouted delighted and pushed the thief taking his place. Ace could see Shadow in front of him, but could not see Destiny, she was close by though. ‘’ Time to go full speed ‘’ Ace smiled ‘ What? ‘’ Shadow shouted who was completely shocked to see him closing in. Ace surrounded his feet with fire and used the pressure to lift from the ground and started surfing on the flames surpassing Shadow ‘What the…? ‘’ he was shocked as hell. It was a race between him and Destiny ‘’ Use your wings, let them taste our dust ‘’ Octavian said ‘’ No, I don’t want to show them my powers, second place is good ‘’ ‘’ You will let her win? ‘’ ‘’ Yup, also, we don’t know the way, remember? ‘’ Octavian released a sigh and went to sleep. Ace put out the flames and started running, always in the second place. After a few minutes, they arrived at something that seemed like a house in the hoods, a big house. They all stopped to take a breath ‘’ I suppose I pass ‘’ Ace smiled, but he was a bit out of breath. ‘’ That was cheating ‘’ Phoenix complained who arrived last. ‘’ I don’t remember telling me not to use magic ‘’ Ace replied. Phoenix raised his head like he was about to say something, but then he decided that he could not win this argument. He sat on the ground instead and looked at Ace with an irritated expression. ‘’ So what is next? You said ‘first test’. What is the second one and how many of them are they? ‘’ he asked Shadow who was apparently surprised to see someone who could surpass him in running ‘ How did you…? ‘’ he started to ask ‘’ By the way, this is the reason I asked you where your hideout is. I could have gone full speed and surpass even Destiny ‘’ Ace smiled. Shadow exhaled and looked at Destiny who shook her head in disbelief. ‘’ Seems like that girl is something exceptional among this guild ‘’ Octavian spoke into Ace’s mind ‘’ Oh you are awake, and what makes you say that? ‘’ Ace asked ‘’ Just think about it. She sits next to Brynjolf, she is his right hand woman. I don’t think that he would take anyone for his right hand. Also she is a woman, and she is feared or admired by her guildmates which is something unusual. Also… ‘’ Octavian paused for a moment ‘’ she radiates a dark aura ‘’ he said with a serious expression. Ace turned at her who was talking to the guys about something. She did smell a little weird. ‘’ She could be an experiment ‘’ ‘’ This is what I am concerned about. We are here, in the middle of nowhere. Who know what they are thinking of you. We can’t use our full powers yet. You can grow wings, tail and stuff but they will be weak and they will not radiate much flame. Be careful partner ‘’ the dragon said with a caring tone. His presence vanished afterwards. He turned at the team who were coming towards him. ‘You passed the first test ‘’ Shadow announced ‘Time for you to take the second one ‘’ ‘’ Bring it ‘’ ‘Skooma ‘’ Ace was stunned for a second ‘’ Excuse me, did you say Skooma? ‘’ Shadow smiled ‘At least two of them ‘’ he said and showed him five little bottles full of the addictive liquid ‘’ I am not sure for that ‘’ he said in his mind ‘’ Your stomach can take it easily. You are part dragon so it should not have many impacts on you ‘’ ‘’ Still… ‘’ Octavian exhaled ‘’ Give me control, I will do it ‘’ ‘’ Ok ‘’ Octavian took the first bottle and gulped down the liquid. He then paused for some seconds ‘’ See, it was not that hard ‘’ Octavian said with a weird tone. He took another one and gulped it down as well. ‘’Good, now give me control ‘’ Ace said. Octavian ignored him, took another bottle and drank ‘’ What are you doing ‘’ ‘’ What am I doing? ‘’ Octavian replied with a funny tone ‘’ Are you high? ‘’ Ace chuckled ‘’ I forgot you are a kid, maybe your organs are not fully resistant yet ‘’ Octavian reached out to take another one but Ace took control and gave the bottle back to Shadow who was stunned for a second time ‘’ No, I want it ‘’ Octavian squeaked before falling asleep. Then Shadow and the others started whispering to each other, Destiny was shaking her head so bad that her hair became a mess. ‘ Let’s go in, shall we? ‘’ Shadow proposed and started walking towards the house ‘ Time for the final test, lets finish it, I must go back to the guild to check on to someone, you continue by yourselves. Robin, you are in charge ‘’ ‘’ Ok ‘’ Robin replied. Ace followed the others inside. Destiny seemed to be worried, maybe an argument with her brother. He then thought of the dragon inside him who was fast asleep ‘’ How the hell am I gonna feed a dragon addicted to skooma? ‘’ he wondered as he stepped inside the house.

    Drahkma

    Dashing Imperial Officer.
    The man really shouldn't have run. But, as most people are prone to doing when facing imprisionment or death, the Nord, Karl Trosksson, was running. He was a small time thief, based mostly in Windhelm, that had stolen from the wrong kind of people. And they'd set the Wolf after him. Not an actual wolf, of course. And Karl didn't think he was a werewolf, at least, not from what he'd heard of the man. No, the Wolf had gained his name because once he was on the trail of a bounty, he never, ever gave up.

    Which was why Karl was now in Riften, the seedy city where people go disappear, and never be heard from again. Or gain an entirely new identity. He walked at a brisk pace, trying to avoid drawing attention to himself. There was no guarantee the Riften guardsmen knew about the bounty on his head...The gates opened behind him, and against his better judgement, he turned to look, and felt like an iron fist had just clenched around his heart. Ardus Carn, 'the Wolf' had just entered Riften.

    His steel grey eyes lit with recognition as he watched Karl, and the thief groaned. Now he turned and ran. The guards made no attempt to stop him, and merchants and townsfolk leapt out of the way. There was a narrow alley up ahead, between two buildings. If he could just make it...thud. Karl winced as war axe buried its head in the wall just ahead of him. The thief skidded to a halt and turned once more.

    His hunter was only four metres away, and closing, a smirk on his face, as if this was nothing more than an enjoyable diversion from his day to day work. When he was two metres away, he spoke. "You can't out run me, Karl." He used the mans' first name as if they were no more than old friends who'd just crossed paths in the street. But his voice was cold, and his eyes seemed to shine with some dark joy. "You can die now, or later. It doesn't matter to me" the Wolf had his arms crossed one hand resting on the pommel of his hand and a half longsword, the other on a long dagger.

    Karls hand went to the iron longsword he kept at his belt. He couldn't run anymore. He may have been a thief, and admittedly, a coward for most of his life, but he was a Nord, damn it! He drew the blade, and rushed forward, shouting a battle cry. If he could get in the first fatal blow- Karl never finished his thought. With almost feline grace, the hunter shifted to the side, avoiding the thiefs clumsy charge with ease. Then the two blades sprang into his hands, the dagger snaking out and intercepting the sword, clashing with the iron blades crossguard, and pinning it to Karls side. The longswords tip found itself at Karls throat.

    The thief froze, letting the sword tumble from his hand, awaiting the death blow, fully aware of the dozens of people watching. The Wolf advanced, and the thief retreated, never enough for the point to leave his throat, it seemed. He felt something thump into his backside, and guessed it was the railing that blocked a fall into the canal. The hunter smiled. It was not a pleasant smile. "Any last words, Karl?"

    "Please. I can pay you" He stammered, reaching for his coin purse. The Wolf cocked an eyebrow.
    "I don't think so." He smirked "I try not to bite the hand that feeds" then he leaned forwards, and Karl felt a sharp prick, then nothing.

    ****
    The Wolf shoved the body over the railing, and it fell with a splash into the canal below. He glanced up, and the audience of merchants and townsfolk dispersed like dust in the wind. A single guard approached, a satchel in one hand. "Well done, Wolf. The Jarl sent this ahead from Windhelm. Looks like he had faith in your, ah, abilities." The mans eyes flicked towards the canal. "Well placed faith" Ardus accepted the satchel, and hefted it, hearing the satisfying clink of gold within.
    "Pleasure. You need anymore lowlifes taken out, have them look me up." He sheathed his weapons, and retrieved his axe from the wall, before heading down a rickety staircase. Most stayed out of the Ratway, if they were smart, but Ardus had nothing to fear from the denizens. He headed to the Ragged Flagon. A place that his kind were not welcome, but he preferred it to the Bee and Barb. Ignoring the hostile stares, he took a seat at the bar. "Brandy. In a clean glass" he ordered curtly. The bartender looked like he might object, but after taking a look at his gear, decided to reconsider. Ardus sipped his drink, while taking in the Flagons' patrons.

    John was still fast asleep when suddenly he heard movement outside his tent, someone pulling back the curtain door of his tent and footsteps in his tent John's eyes shot open as he gripped the dagger in his hand, he was about to strike when "My friend it's time to go, we need to make a recent map of locations and movements and return to Markarth and warn them." Raz'gul said loudly from a distance John moved slightly and pretended it seemed like he was waking up. "We can't cover that ground the normal way I hope you rested well." John swung his legs around off the bed, on to the ground, he pulled out the dagger from under the pillow and dropped it on the bedside cabinet as he picked up his armor and started to putting it on "you're lucky you didn't tap me on the shoulder or something I was ready to jump up and......well do something not very nice but anyway you didn't so moving on, you and I both know that no member of The Circle can ever be well rested however I have gotten enough sleep for the day ahead" he said as he finished with his armor and moved on to equipping his weapons.

    he picked up strapped on his quiver and put his bow on his back before picking up his sword tieing to the left side of his belt so he could draw it with his right hand as he did this he continued to talk "so what's the normal way of traveling around then? walking? horses? Flying??.......Flying Horses???" he said before laughing at the joke as he put his dagger and throwing knives into their special little slots "ready let's go" he said walking passed Raz'gul and pulled back the curtain door"it's a good day for scouting" he said looking at the sky.

    Raz'gul thought to himself. "Well I can see he hasn't changed, smart ass" following John out of his tent Raz'gul cracked his neck and once out of sight of the camp said aloud. "Flying Horses would be convenient, however I choose to travel a little different." Letting out a huge howl that echoed through the canyons, the Orc began to shift. "Hope you can still keep up!" Raz'gul grew taller and the silver hair on his head now spread to his body, his eyes, and hands changed. There standing in front of John was a large silver wolf. With a slight turn of the head the wolf took in a deep breath looked to the east, dropping to all fours he bolted.

    Raz'gul followed a familiar scent in was the Nord he had faced a few days earlier. He ran forgeting about John for a time until he came upon a group of well armed scouts. "Damnit, I need to keep my wits about me. I made this to personal" Raz'gul thought in his head as the three scouts turned towards him. With swiftness and ferocity he pounced on the first scout a small Wood Elf crushing it under his weight. He turned to the others and swung at them both knocking one back with force. However he turned his back to the third proving to be a mistake he felt a deep burn come up his side. The sword slash dropped the wolf to the ground. "Of course a silver blade, must be my lucky day." He thought to himself. Raz'gul was in a bad spot and turned to his side to get up seeing something that blew his mind. "How did so many..." his thought faded out with another slash he stopped with his forearm. Knowing he was in trouble he only hoped that John wasn't far behind.....

    "Flying Horses would be convenient, however I choose to travel a little different." John laughed as Raz'gul Let out a huge howl that echoed through the canyons, the Orc began to shift. With a slight turn of the head the wolf took in a deep breath looked to the east, dropping to all fours he bolted "Dammit Raz'gul!" John said running trying to catch up to him then he caught Raz'gul's scent and followed it, sensing he was round a corner and that there was the smell of blood John slowed down to a walk "you know you could have wait for me before you-" he started but then stopped as he rounded the corner and saw Razgul being attacked by scouts with Silver Blades.

    John just stood there and stared as Raz'gul blocked one slash with his forearm but it left a deep cut "NNOOO!! RAZ!!" he yelled wrathful anger rushing through his bloodstream as his neck and back bones became to crack and stretch causing him to fall to his knees, he covered his eyes as they suddenly fell through his fingers, dropped on the ground in small puddles of blood and revealed a second pair but instead they were blood red, razor-sharp claws spurted out from his fingers as his hands and arms grew longer and shedding the skin revealing black fur underneath as his entire facial structure transformed and his jawbone dislocated and developed into a vicious fanged mouth, Hair spurted all over him as he pulls off the remaining skin and grew taller, as his feet grew bigger his heels pulled back and up before letting out an almighty roar at the men.

    The men readied themselves a few coward in fear, one of the stupid ones ran at John hoping to strike him but before he could John backhanded him with so much force he flew back and crashed into the scouts John dashed forward craving a man's chest open with a upwards slash from his right hand before grabbing another by the neck and crushing it with little effort, next he clawed a scout's stomach open and before his intestines even began to fall out John grabbed another scout by the scruff of his neck as he ripped his throat out, he then sank his teeth in one man's neck before breaking it and throwing him at two other scouts and then tearing the two scouts's faces apart, another stupid scout try to attack him but John dodged him with ease as he then grabbed his arm and kicked him so hard his arm came off, he grabbed one scout by the neck who trying to run away he struggled trying to get out of the massive hand but John ended him by ripping his head off and then with a clenched fist he punched another scout's head off and just because John wanted one more kill to make it even and that he was still pissed off, he stabbed his hand claws first through a scout's chest and out his back (OCC:Impalement??).

    at this point there was blood all over the place, it was on the ground, on the trees (OOC:if there were any), on John himself and over the bodies, it was as if several people exploded from the inside out at the same time.

    Raz'gul watched as John came in and ripped his foes to bloody pieces. A few tried to run from John they did not get far. The silver wolf although injured was not out yet, as one lightly armored Dunmer ran by he was met with a claw to the throat. The last scout to try and run past was picked up and his heart was devoured from his chest. Raz'gul knew he was rusty fighting as his wolf but didn't know it was that bad. It was after feeding and trying to help himself heal that he remembered; Shifting back to his original form he thanked John "Brother, you saved me I'm sorry I was reckless its been some time since I've fought like that."

    Raz'gul waved his friend over to his side standing at the top of a small out cropping. Looking down on a large open grassy field covered in tents and fires and men. It was an army 1,000 or more strong, he could smell him that hulk of a man Welade. "He must be leading them." he said turning back towards John. "No more than three days from besieging Markarth. We must warn them.....I need you to talk to the council they have written me off as a common thug." Raz'gul pointed to some large catapults. "All they need to do is set them on the cliffs above and half the city will fall."

    "You head to Markarth. I'll return to camp and meet you there in a days time. Hircine guide you my brother." Raz'gul said as he began to march back to the camp to rally his men.

    She bolted out ahead, to make plans about the night ahead. “Change of plans, he will join our brotherhood” Shadow said. Destiny was shocked about her brother’s decision. “What? NO!” She replied boldly. ‘’ What is up? ‘ Ace asked. ‘ There was a change of plan ‘’ Shadow stepped forward ‘’ I am Shadow, Destiny’s brother by the way ‘’ ‘’ Ace Wavern ‘’ he introduced himself ‘’ Phoenix ‘’ another guy introduced himself ‘’ Robin ‘’ ‘’ Ruby ‘’ the girl stepped in ‘’ nice to meet you ‘’. After they learned each other’s names, Shadow told him what the situation was like ‘ Instead of going to Bee n’ Barb, we are going to our place. Also, we decided to see what you are capable of. Ace chuckled ‘’ Challenge accepted, where is your place? ‘’ ‘’ You will follow us ‘’ ‘’ What if I am faster than you, how will I know where to go? ‘’ ‘ No one is faster than Destiny, she will always be ahead of you ‘’ He replied yet again and they bolted off without seeing his reaction. “Seriously Shadow?” Destiny said angrily “What? He seemed like us!” “Yeah, NO… He is nothing like you guys, he is more... you know… ” “Harsh… “ Phoenix commented “Yeah… Thanks for the compliment.” Robin said, as he jumped onto the branch right next to her. “Anyway… I’m off losers! Catch ya later… If I let you do so. “ Destiny said playfully and sprinted further away from the rest “Oh no you won’t” Shadow said as he did the same, following closely behind but failing to preserve the speed that he had. “I can’t believe I’m still in this…” She commented. After a somewhat long run she entered the clearing where the house lay. The rest reached the clearing as well and were taking a breath ‘’ I suppose I pass ‘’ Ace smiled, but he was a bit out of breath. “No way” Ruby whispered over to Destiny “He’d wish to be that fast” Destiny commented letting out a small smile. “He passed?” Robin said to the rest “He passed. “ Destiny said before her brother had time to respond. “Next test?” Phoenix asked, looking over to Shadow who was infuriated by Destiny’s arrogance and behavior. ‘You passed the first test ‘’ Shadow announced ‘Time for you to take the second one ‘’ ‘’ Bring it ‘’ ‘Skooma ‘’ Ace was stunned for a second ‘’ Excuse me, did you say Skooma? ‘’ Shadow smiled ‘At least two of them ‘’ he said and showed him five little bottles full of the addictive liquid. “I remember when a certain white haired girl downed 4 of them easily and didn’t give a plops about anything” Phoenix said “Yeah… Where did that fun girl go?” Robin said frowning and looking at her. “She grew up and became more mature.” Shadow shook his head. “When will you start to have fun?” She ignored his question and saw Ace who took one bottle and downed it with ease, then a second and a third one. He reached out for a forth one but he stopped and shook his head. “I suppose that’s enough” Robin commented. “Yeah… now for the next one” Shadow said as he looked over to Destiny, who was clearly worried “Yeah… the next one… But isn’t Ruby...” Phoenix said but was cut off by Shadow “Ruby isn’t going to participate in this one… Instead, Destiny would be glad to do this” She shook her head angrily “No, I will not lay down with him! I refuse to do such an unethical and a whorish thing! “Ouch… That’s mean” Robin commented as he pulled Ruby closer to him from her waist, who seemed hurt by her friend’s statement “When will you start to have fun as a thief? As one of us! Grow up Destiny and start to enjoy your life! You’re a thief who is clean of everything and conserved! Who in Oblivion does that? Even the Winterhold dorks do such things and they're bookworms!” “I at least have my dignity and my pride! And I’m not the one who has lost their path, Shadow!” She said infuriated by their behavior, she knew they were low… But not like that. “I don’t care, you will do it!” Shadow said angrily, she was taken aback from his harshness and from the cruelty he was now showing her. ‘ Let’s go in, shall we?‘’ Shadow proposed and started walking towards the house ‘ Time for the final test, lets finish it, I must go back to the guild to check on to someone, you continue by yourselves. Robin, you are in charge ‘’ ‘’ Ok ‘’ Robin replied. Ace followed the others inside. “What the hell?” Destiny commented.

    “Well… It’s more of a gift, than a test” Phoenix said as he patted Ace on the back, he looked a bit saddened but Destiny couldn't figure out why. “It could be worse…” Ruby tried to persuade her “It’s not working. By the way, sorry for before… I didn’t mean it for you.” Destiny said, a sad expression was formed on her face “What?” Ace yelled when the guys told him about the ‘test’. Both of the girls turned to face them. Ace’s eyes met Destiny’s and they were both uneasy about that. “Weird, I thought that he would…” Destiny commented “yeah… same here. But most men…” “Are willing... I know.” Destiny said. "Don't worry, ok? We'll be here in case you need us." She said as she half-hugged her friend.

    Ace’s thoughts while entering the house were not like most men. Most of them would be like ‘’ Damn I am about to have fun with a hot chick ‘’ He was more like ‘’ Oh plops hell no. I ain’t doing anything. How do I get out of here ‘’ He paused mid stairs and thought that it was the first opportunity he had to do something like that without him trying to take information or assassinate the woman, but he did not want. ‘’ Seems legit ‘’ he thought. ‘’ How many times had she done that up until now? ‘’ he wondered. Then he looked at her walking in front of him, hugged with Ruby. She seemed worried as hell. When the others told him what was the final ‘test’ and he yelled, their eyes met for a moment. She was about to cry. She seemed different from the other thieves he had met up until then… in many ways. ‘’ That smell ‘’ he thought. She smelled weird, and he could feel a dark aura emanating from her. What was worse, it was similar to the aura of the one man he could never forget. He clenched his fists. ‘’ A battle might be ahead, but for now, I must not show anything ‘’ Ace thought. When they entered the house, Robin stopped and declared ‘’ Ace and Destiny, you go upstairs, show him were the room is ‘’ ‘’ Humph ‘’ Ace mumbled and followed Destiny who seemed really tensed. He touched her shoulder ‘’ Are you alright ‘’ he asked. ‘’ No, but let’s get this over with ‘’ she said and kept on walking. After a few steps, they had almost reached the second floor where the rooms were located. Then they both paused at the same moment. They could hear footsteps behind them. They looked at each other and continued walking. Destiny looked behind carefully ‘’ Phoenix ‘’ she sighed as she turned at him again ‘’ When we arrive on top, I will do something, don’t react ‘’ she seemed to think a little but eventually nodded. As soon as they were next to their room’s door, Ace grabbed her, pressed her against the wall and kissed her right next to her mouth. She did not react, but he could feel her heart racing. After a few seconds they heard Phoenix’s steps as he left. The sound vanished a little after. ‘’ Sorry for that ‘’ he whispered as he let her go ‘’ Yeah… no problem ‘’ she replied a bit stunned ‘’ Why didn’t you… ‘’ ‘’ Shall we go in ‘’ he tried to look casual. She took a deep breath and nodded. Ace opened the door and both of them walked inside. It was quite big. An opened window was next to the bed. Two torches were around them lighting up the room, but not too much. Apart from the bed, there was a chair near a wall. Ace removed his cloak and boots and jumped on the bed. ‘’ Sorry for that, it is not personal, but I ain’t doing anything with you. My first time will be with a fist timer as well after a strong relationship ‘’ he said as he put his hands behind his head ‘’ You know how much time it will approximately take ‘’ he closed his eyes ‘’ Wake me up when you think it would be over ‘’ he heard sigh of relief and after a some seconds she replied ‘’ Actually I don’t. That would be my first time as well ‘’ Ace opened his eyes totally shocked and looked at Destiny who seemed to have blushed a little ‘’ I thought thieves did that like it was nothing ‘’ she closed his eyes and smiled and spoke with such a clean voice, like a dragon was sitting on top of her and now he left, ‘’ The others do, I don’t ‘’ Ace stood up and sat on the bed while Destiny sat on the chair. A gust of wind blew the one torch away. The little light that was left in the room fell on Destiny. Now that Ace learnt that she was ‘clean’ he started to look at her from a different angle, as someone who might be ideal for him. ‘’ By Paarthurnax’s name, she is really beautiful ‘’ he thought as he looked at her more closely. She was cute, beautiful and somewhat scary at the same time. ‘’ Can I ask you something? ‘’ he broke the silence ‘’ Mmm ‘’ she nodded. ‘’ Are you an experiment, your smell is similar to the Shadow Lord’s. Are you associated with Him? Do you work for Him? ‘’ he asked. She took a deep breath ‘’ In a way, I am associated with the Shadow Lord, but I see Him as an enemy and I certainly was not willing to work with Him. On the experiment thing… yes I am ‘’ she replied calmly. She extended her hand and shadows surrounded it making it a deadly weapon. Ace smiled. She was not an enemy. ‘’ Then there is no way to hide it from you ‘’ he said and undid his armor. He threw it and the noise echoed all over the house. She seemed to understand why he did that ‘’ These things, make noise, don’t they ‘’ he winked and Destiny smiled. Then he took a serious expression as he turned with his back at her. He focused and two gold and red wings came out of his back revealing his powers as a fellow experiment. She stayed calm, like she expected something like that. She stood up and sat next to him. She started examining his wings ‘’ Interesting ‘’ she said ‘’ these are my pride along with my tail ‘’ he replied ‘’ had I used these, I would have surpassed you in running. Speed is my thing ‘’ he smiled at her and she smiled back ‘’ It is only natural ‘’ she said. She seemed worried for a bit. ‘’ Don’t worry ‘’ he reassured her as he saw the worry in her eyes. ‘’ I am not going to attack you or anything ‘’ he smiled again. ‘’ By the way, how much time had it passed. Wouldn’t it be over already? ‘’ Ace asked ‘’ No ‘’ Destiny said shyly. Ace thought for a minute, and then he smiled. ‘’ How about we have a race. We can go out of the window. Powers and magic are allowed. The checkpoint is the big tree over there ‘’ he said and pointed the landmark ‘’ Then we come back, the first to arrive wins. What do you think? ‘’ he asked. She thought about it, and then she smiled a bit ‘’ Agreed, but the winner gets something. We will think about the reward later ‘’ she winked. They took positions on the window. Shadows started swirling around Destiny’s feet and slowly they surrounded her whole body. Ace unfolded his wings and tail. She, threw a bottle down the window. When the sound of the breaking glass reached their ears, they both bolted and started jumping from branch to branch in incredible speed. She was fast, Ace gave her that. It was actually the hardest race Ace had ever participated in. There even were times when he saw her ahead of him. Eventually, the speed boost he got from his wings and flames allowed him to finish just a second earlier. Destiny landed on the window elegantly but Ace was not that fortunate. He had such a momentum that he kept going and crashed headfirst on the chair. ‘’ Ouch, ouch ‘’ he mumbled. ‘’ Are you alright? ‘’ Destiny asked. She was about to break down and laugh. '' So you were serious about the speed...congrats for your win '' she smiled. Seeing her smile warmed Ace’s heart ''Thank you. Now considering the reward… I will not use it right now, but don’t forget about it '' he winked at her.Then a familiar presence appeared in his mind ‘’ What the fl*ff happened to me ‘’ ‘’ You drank Skooma, and you became high as hell. You would have drunk more if I hadn’t stopped you. It might not hurt you much… but you became addicted. You are such a genius ‘’ Octavian seemed socked ‘’ Shut up ‘’ he shouted but then he remembered what happened ‘’ I became addicted to Skooma, what a joke ‘’ he mumbled ‘’ By the way, is that…? ‘’ he asked as he turned his attention to Destiny. Ace looked at her who seemed confused a little. ‘’ Destiny, allow me to introduce you to me soul-mate… literally. The golden dragon Octavian ‘’ ‘’ Heya ‘’ he said as he switched the control. She smiled and said ‘’ Pleased to meet you. Destiny-Viper ‘’ Ace signaled her to sit down. They spent the last hour talking about their past and how they acquired their powers. In the end they opened the door and started walking down the stairs ‘’ To think that something that terrible happened to you… I am terribly sorry for thinking you were an ally of that bastard ‘’ ‘’ That also explains the smell ‘’ Octavian commented. ‘’ Well it is no problem and if you don’t mind my little lizard, don’t refer to that smell thing ‘’ she smiled but there was a warning tone behind her words ‘’ Oh I really like her ‘’ Ace thought. She was the first person he ever saw, apart from him, that made Octavian shut his yap. The dragon instead of replying, retreated in the back of his mind and observed irritated. They kept on talking about irrelevant things. When they arrived at the entrance floor, they saw that some people, apart from them, were there as well. ‘’ Sooo, how did it go? ‘’ a familiar voice was heard ‘’ Did you have fun? ‘’ Robin walked next to them and took them to the table were Phoenix and Ruby were sitting.

    after Raz'gul had left John started to change back his heels returned to normal as his claws retracted back into his fingers, his werewolf hair began to fall off as he started to shrink back to normal size, after changing back John noticed he was mostly covered in blood even in his mouth *tastes like Beef hm who knew* he thought as he bathed in a near river, finally after getting the blood off John puts his armor and gear back on he set way for Markarth it was going to be about an hour until he gets here.

    img-thing

    Finally he could see stone walls in his sights but before he walked further he opened his Satchel [OCC: Of Infinity!!] as he pulled out his Senior Companion Badge and clipped it on to whatever was holding his cloak around his neck "took a while but I'm here at least" he said as he walked up the stone steps and approach the gates of Markarth I was about to walk when one of the two guards standing outside steps forward and stops me "Halt Traveler the city is closed for the upcoming battle against The Shadow Lord's army" said the guard "That's why I'm here, I have important news for The Jarl, His war adviser and The Council, it is critical that you let me pass into the city" John said back the guard sighed "very well then but don't go causing trouble" he said as John nodded and walked through the giant stone gates. Walking up the street John whistled a tune which echoed all over the city, Markarth was very quiet at this point everybody seemed to inside their homes or something anyway John reached The Jarl's palace, Understone Keep "this better be worth it" he said entering the palace before he was surrounded by armed soldiers with weapons drawn "Halt! you enter the Jarl's palace armed to the teeth, state your business" one of them said who assumed to be the Captain of The Guard John replied to with "I'm here to see The Jarl, his War Adviser and The Council, I have news about The Shadow Lord's army that they need to hear." they all seemed to look at each other confused before the Captain of The Guard pointed at John "you wait here, don't let your guard men, this one is dangerous" he said walking off into The Jarl's Throne Room. as The Captain entered the Throne Room he climbed the stairs he kneel down on one knee before The Jarl "my lord there is a man requesting to see you he says he has news you need to hear, he also bears The Mark of The Senior Companions on his chest" he said informing The Jarl

    Raz'gul arrived back at his camp. Walking into his tent he dawned his full gear minus his helmet. In an authoritative voice boomed. "Alright pack this camp up and prepare to fight. We have one day to set off! Now hop to it." The camp became bustling as men and women armed themselves and prepared for the journey ahead. Raz'gul hoped John would be able to convince the council that the danger was real.

    After most of the day was spent getting everything torn down. Raz'gul told his group to eat as they would be marching through the night. As they ate and joked and drank as all warriors do before a battle a voice behind the orc would be met with a boot knife to the throat. "Master Bloodfist, I'm....." he was cut off swallowing as the tip of the dagger met his neck. "You better talk fast boy or my name will be the last word you ever speak" It was a very young Dunmer he didn't give his name but mentioned he was a messenger sent from the college with a scroll. The scroll was cryptic but exactly what Raz'gul needed.

    'When the shadow rises over the land. Hope will be lost men will betray each other and themselves, some will fight back but they will lose. The only chance is to find the artifacts that the shadow itself created for only with these will the light shine down upon Nirn once again.'

    "That's it that's why the Shadow lords wants Markarth." Raz'gul said aloud before he could turn and say anything the Dunmerwas gone. "We move now, I must meet up with John. He could be in serious trouble."

    “Robin you are in charge, I’ve got somewhere to go” Shadow said as he turned his back to everyone and started running. “What could Destiny mean…” He wondered as he leaped from branch to branch heading towards the Thieves Guild. He stopped for a moment to gaze at the night sky. Suddenly the memory of him and his sister sitting on the big tree on the shores of the lake, laughing and talking, came to his mind. Now his ‘Little sister’ refused to act like her age, she seemed too mature or too immature about certain things. “Is it bad that I’m forcing her to do certain things?” He stood there and stared in the void “And especially this thing… she should like it. But still, I feel somewhat bad.” The sound of a wolf howling snapped him out of his thoughts ‘’ There is nothing I can do to change that ‘’ he shook his head ‘’ I must focus ‘’ and his mind came back to the reason why he left in the first place ‘’ Tali… ‘’ he whispered and started running again. ‘’ How was she? She was about to faint last time he saw her ‘’ But then he thought that Brynjolf would never leave someone in need like that. He relaxed a bit but still kept on running. The smell of smoke filled his nostrils. “That dunmer did all this… Why did he have to come to the guild?” He muttered. “He’s good at running. I give him that, but he would never surpass the Twin Shadows, nor would he take my place.” He said, preparing for a long leap. He managed to do it and reached two trees away for his starting point. “Still got it” He said arrogantly. He went down on the road and walked casually towards the gates of Riften. “Morson, Borak! What’s up guys?” “Hey Shadow? Out for a night stroll?” “Or out in a certain house partying?” Both guards where friends of his and were in the same age as him. (OOC: They will probably also be members of the so called Brotherhood, which is more of a fraternity) “Out for a stroll with the group. After your post, will you be hitting the house? Anyway… I’ve got an ill friend I have to go see so, Catch ya later” “We will, actually. Hope he gets better” “It’s a SHE!” he said as he already was inside of the gates. “Maybe Destiny will be in the house” Morson said as he playfully punched Borak on the shoulder. “Hey! He can hear you, you jackass!” Borak said as he punched him back, this time with force. “Idiots.” Shadow muttered as he ran down the street. He was so much absorbed in his thoughts wand worries about Tali that he almost passed the alley which led to the secret entrance. He ran as fast as he could. The guild was mostly empty but some members, including Brynjolf, were still there. ‘’ Where is the little girl?‘’ he asked Brynjolf a bit out of breath ‘’ She is in the same room Ace was. She is currently sleeping so be quiet.‘’ the Guildmaster replied. Shadow nodded and walked fast towards the room. He slowly opened the door and crept inside. He saw little Tali sleeping peacefully, he slowly moved to the chair where Destiny had been sitting while waiting for Ace to wake up. He looked at the kid that stirred up the guild “Mercer’s daughter… Who could have possibly imagined". A few minutes afterwards she twisted and opened her eyes. "Mmmm...Shadow? Is that you? What time is it? What are you doing here?" he smiled at her “Yes Tali, don’t worry, it’s me. It’s almost sunrise. I’m here to see how you’re doing”.

    Tali smiled up at Shadow as he told her it was almost sunrise and he had come by just to check on her. He had always been nice to her and he was the only one that was really open about it. Delven and Vex had left her things she needed, sometimes in dead drops Tali would find, sometimes right in the middle of her "home". Vex even met her once when Tali caught her leaving food and she taught Tali how to interpret the shadowmark symbols the guild used. But they had never been warm or friendly. Shadow was. Over the years he had taught her, in secret, better ways to find food, drinkable water, a dry place to sleep and even how to read on a basic level. Enough to associate words with pictures but not enough to read a book. That always required more education that he could provide but things were different now. Tali was part of a family and she wanted to learn how to read and write.

    Tali turned onto her back but stayed under her mountain of blankets and kept her head on her big soft pillow. She was so warm and comfy. More than she had ever thought possible. And she felt safe and cute in her new pj's. Under the long white nightgown Brynjolf had changed her into she was wearing a light blue pair of footy pajamas with yellow ducks. They were warm, soft, comfy, protected everything but her head and hands and were very, very cute.

    "I'm doing the best Shadow." She said, tired but happy. "Brynjolf took that bag of food you gave me away but I ate a lot before he did. He said I could hurt myself if I eat too much but I don't understand that. I feel really good now though. My hair's clean and my tummy's full and I have this nice warm bed and I have these comfy new jammies! Look, they have feet!"

    She got out from under the covers and stuck her foot in front of Shadow's face so he could see that her jammies did indeed have feet. There was a gray rubber sole, an old dwemer recipe, on the bottom of her feet to keep her from slipping. The skirt of her nightgown came up over her right knee but she didn't care. She was wearing footy pajamas underneath! This was the most comfy and amazing piece of clothing she had ever seen and she never wanted to take them off.

    "Guess what? Brynjolf says I'm part of the family now! You and I are brothers! But that means Destiny is my sister and she scares me. She doesn't like me."

    She sat on her legs and stuck her arms out, waiting for Shadow to pick her up and hug her. Maybe even lay down with her.

    I shuddered awake. Pain spread like wildfire throughout my body. My leg tensed. my body cramped, my stomach growled. I wiped the crust that formed on my eyes from the deep sleep I was in. At least I was alive, or was that just the bad part? Like something was toying with me.
    Earlier I dreamed I was back in Hammerfell, the warm sun gleamed onto the luscious sand that went on forever. Sandstone buildings, polished so finely, and in such a grand condition that it was if it was just built.
    Where was it?
    Sentinel, I think.
    It was warm there, not like skyrim which seems to be a bitter cold, no mercy for those who cannot survive. You either froze, or you didn't.
    I was still near the warm vent where I dropped near, I was far enough not to get burnt but close enough to get warm again. I had no food, only water.
    Well there's water everywhere in skyrim, it's just Frozen to hell!
    I checked back towards my leg, The bleeding didn't start again since I past out. It didn't seem infected.
    I pulled out a cloth which I piled into the backpack, quickly wet it and then held it over the vent until it was warm. I proceeded to wipe off the dry blood, and the wound looked better. The bolt that hit me, wasn't that big.

    Walking was another problem. I managed, but every step sent a sharp pain up my leg. It dulled with every step as I tried to ignore it. I could pick.
    I could travel deeper into the ruins, hopefully finding another exit or I could leave and journey towards either Winterhold or Windhelm. Another thing hit me, I remembered seeing Figures, and I've heard stories of specific ruins like this and what lies in the shadowy deeper corners, waiting for a chance for somebody to walk in. Simply observing at first, before they make their move.
    I decided it was best to not stick around to find out if these stories had a truth. I left for Windhelm but before I did I tore some of the clear cloth off and tied it around my leg, I didn't want to get infected.

    I had a Mission to do. I loomed across the walls with the darkness. It was my ally. My closest friend besides my blade.
    Too much trouble had these rebels been, I accepted it with ease. To think I've never refused a mission.
    The fire flickered, the shadows danced and the light went out with a poof. The guard grunted, but was never heard from again. It was nothing personal, to me anyway. The room with all the battle plans and their trade routes, their secret weapons caches, their food supplies, this rebellion will end. So be it the Shadow Lord commands.

    ‘’ Did you have fun? ‘’ Robin walked next to them and took them to the table were Phoenix and Ruby were sitting. When they arrived, Ruby winked at her and said “We have to go to the storage room” “What for?” Phoenix asked suspiciously, while he was ‘observing’ Destiny from head to toe, stopping at some spots. “What a perverted guy he turned out to be. Such a shame” she thought disgusted by his behavior “Come on! Move” Ruby enthusiastically dragged her to the room while the boys started drinking mead and talking. “So…” Ruby asked her eager to hear everything “So?” Destiny asked her arching her eyebrow “Don’t give me that look… I know you better than anyone else! You want to tell me something… Something happened, not just the… you know.” Destiny stirred in her seat “Well… that… actually” She took a deep breath and Ruby’s eyes widened “YOU DIDN’T DO IT?” she said loudly “ Shhhh… No one should know about it. Not even Robin. And especially NOT Shadow!” she said with a mixture of anger and sadness “Viper… I’m sorry that it had to be this way… Both me and Robin were against it.” Destiny reached out and hugged her elven friend “I know sis, I know.” “But if that didn’t happen, then what did? We heard his armor drop on the floor, so we thought that…” Destiny smiled and sighed “Yeah… I know. We just talked…” Ruby gasped and looked at her friend ,grinning from ear to ear “You… When we go upstairs you will tell me everything and I mean EVERYTHING, with every detail.” Destiny smiled and nodded, they grabbed the bottles and walked out of the room. “No one had called me that in a long time…” She whispered over to Ruby, who giggled. Destiny put on a smile and walked daringly towards the table “Show time.” She thought to herself as she took a seat next to Ace whose expression lit up a little. “Do you want me to fill your glass, miss?” The guys laughed and Ruby looked at her “You just don’t call one of the Twin Shadows miss. Especially this one” Robin commented. Destiny ignored that comment and smiled at Ace, winking “Yes, thank you VERY much” She said taking an elegant position and moved closer to him and reached out her glass. Robin stopped laughing and grabbed Ruby by her waist, pulling her closer and seeming like he understood what was going on and smiled “Finally!” He muttered. Phoenix’s expression was unique, his eyebrows where arched and his mouth was closed shut. “So any new jobs?” Destiny asked towards the group. “I had to steal Maven Black-Briar’s medallion from her bedroom, while she was asleep” Phoenix said with pride, Robin chuckled and the rest of the group were unamused “I had to ‘borrow’ the research files about Nocturnal from the Archmage’s Quarters in The College of Winterhold” Robin said “Nice” Ace commented “I had to get information about the Shadow Lord from an immortal bitch on Shor’s Stone” he chuckled. Ruby stayed silent and looked at Destiny who was sitting close to Ace and was resting her head on his shoulder without even realizing that. “My assignment was to take Aela’s Journal from her bedroom. When I got there though, I realized that she was in the same room as I was. A simple task.” She said smiling. “Who is that Aela person?” Ace asked. Robin almost choked himself with his drink “Aela the Huntress, a Companion, member of the Circle, Werewolf.” Ace did not look surprised “Only someone with your skills would be able to do something like that” he winked. She smiled and then said “Why thank you, but it was a hard task for me to do”. Phoenix mumbled some things to himself as he heard all those achievements, which were amazing compared to his puny task “Showoffs” he said irritated. She exhaled and said “It is not our fault that our skills are superior” Ruby and Robin seemed to laugh at her statement. Ace’s voice changed a little and Destiny recognized the dragon talking “She got you with that one mate” he said with a mocking tone. Robin’s laugh came even louder than expected. Many people from the other tables turned and stared at them, Destiny covered her mouth with her hand and Ruby almost choked on her drink, Phoenix on the other hand hanged his head between his shoulders in shame “That was rude…” he muttered. “Then you shouldn’t have started showing off in the first place” Octavian said yet again with a mocking tone. Robin unable to stop laughing hit the table with his fist, causing their ‘audience’ to start whispering between them. Destiny kicked Ace’s leg so that he would stop. “Cut it out!” She said, almost whispering. He looked at her but it wasn’t himself. “Octavian stop it now. You must not, at all costs, fight with Phoenix…” She said, caringly but shamefully “Why so?” Octavian said arrogantly. “You won’t reason with him” she thought “He has to learn the hard way”. “Go ahead then” she said. The dragon humphed and turned back at Phoenix who stood up, re-equipping his gauntlets “You don’t wanna mess with me.” He laughed “I’ve got friends in high places and I can give you a good beating” Phoenix boasted “Why would you call your friends? Can’t you fight alone? As a man against a dra..” He shook his head and Ace’s voice echoed “A man.” Phoenix walked towards the center of the room, which was empty “Bring it then.” He said, cracking his ligaments “I’m ready.” Phoenix said, looking over to Destiny who remained unamused and seemed to want to warn him, but for some reason didn’t. “Let him get what he deserves” Ruby said to Destiny. She sighed.
    Ace seemed to be thinking of something, hesitating a bit, as it seemed and then stepped into the lower elevation center of the room. “Nocturnal help us. both Destiny and Robin muttered as Ruby was a bit speechless… “Didn’t think that would actually happen". Then they turned their attention to the fight that has just begun. Phoenix was on the offensive throwing blows on Ace, but he did not fight back. He just stood there dodging and parrying the hits. “Coward” he shouted “Fight me” Phoenix screamed yet again. During a step, there was a creaking sound from the floor and Ace’s eyes lit up. Phoenix then, used a dirty trick, he kicked Ace in the groin and he fell on the floor. Phoenix then turned his attention to the crowd “I got this” he took pride in himself. Ace on the other hand, stood back up and examined the spot. “Oh he didn’t” Destiny said over to her friends “He did NOT just do what I think he did…” She yelled, reaching for her poisoned daedric daggers. Robin lunged for her and locked her on spot “Why won’t he fight back though?” Robin whispered. They kept on looking as Ace got back at his feet. “That was an unmanly way to fight man” he said at Phoenix who turned at him again “What you did to me was unmanly” He yelled “Explain yourself” Ace said calmly as he reached at his pocket. “What the,,,” Destiny muttered “Oh no… He won’t” Robin said, “He will.” Ruby continued. “Firstly you fl*ffed the girl I have had my eyes on since 2 years ago where her ‘boyfriend’ left and Secondly you made fun of me in front of everyone. If you think you can walk in, do these things and have no problem about it, then you’re wrong.” He screamed at him and the ‘croud’ remained speechless “Weapons are not allowed. Get your hands out of your pockets you skeever!” Ace kept on that calm expression and kept on searching. Finally he drew a bag of coins and threw it away. “That should cover the costs” he smiled “What costs?” Phoenix said as he walked at him. Ace took position again, but this time, he was more focused, like he had a plan. He went in circles, passing over the creaking spot over and over again. After some seconds he took a step forward and threw a clumsy punch at Phoenix who laughed at step aside, putting Ace behind him. “Is that all you got?” he shouted arrogantly. Ace slowly smiled and whispered “Checkmate” “What?” Phoenix asked but before he could do anything, Ace struck his foot at the floor and the creaking plank, got detached from the floor and hit Phoenix on the stomach throwing him off balance. Ace took a fast step forward and kicked Phoenix in the same spot sending him on a wood column. As the thief started to get back at his feet, Ace hit him in the back of his head with a fist and Phoenix fell headfirst on the floor. “These expenses” Ace answered as he nodded towards the broken plank. Destiny broke out of Robin’s lock, which had loosened up a bit and sprinted towards the guys, Robin and Ruby followed as well. “Phoenix…” She muttered. Her sprint came to a stop when she saw Ace half-picking up Phoenix. Robin sprinted angrily over to Ace. “He needs immediate treatment” Ace pleaded." I hit him harder than I wanted". Robin was shocked but helped him carry his unconscious friend over to the room. Ace stopped right next to Destiny and whispered “That stupid lizard.” She was clearly pissed off at him… “On the bright side… He was kinda protecting your honor.” Ruby said to her friend. The girls rushed upstairs and prepared buckets of ice-cold water, salves and potions.
    A few hours passed and Phoenix was still unconscious, but was a little better. Ace walked over to them “It’s my fault and I should fix it” he said as he took out a small vial with a few drops of a dark liquid inside. Destiny immediately recognized it “Phoenix tears” she whispered. “What?” Ruby asked her. Ace poured the last drop on Phoenix’s mouth and he seemed to wake up. “How did you?” Robin asked Ace. “The best healing potion.” He answered. “Where am I?” Phoenix said fazed. “Upstairs… In your room. You worried us for a moment there…” Destiny said to him and he grinned at her. She rolled her eyes “Sorry” Ace said with a shameful tone. “I don’t need your pity.” He tried to stand up, but he seemed to get dizzy and fell back onto the bed. “You need some rest… we all do” Ruby advised. “Tell me about it…” Destiny added, tiredly as she looked over to Ace. “Rest well, because tomorrow is the Big Day!” Robin smiled at Destiny.
    Moments later, she was in her bed, staring at the ceiling “How am I going to explain all this to Shadow?” She thought. She laughed nervously and closed her eyes, drifting away in the realm of Dreams…
    ~~~~~~~~~Shadow~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    She got out from under the covers and stuck her foot in front of Shadow's face so he could see that her jammies did indeed have feet. Before he could reply, the little girl spoke again.
    "Guess what? Brynjolf says I'm part of the family now! You and I are brothers! But that means Destiny is my sister and she scares me. She doesn't like me."
    She sat on her legs and stuck her arms out, waiting for Shadow to pick her up and hug her. “Destiny isn’t something you should be scared of… Deep down she is kind and loving. You just need to get on her good side for her to show it.” He paused for a second “Well she might not like you, because she hasn’t got to know you, because she is so absorbed with doing jobs and training for tomorrow.” He picked her up and hugged her. “Welcome to the family little sister.” He said with a loving voice. He knew why he was doing that and yet, did not care about how selfish his actions were. He did all that because she reminded him of Viper when they were children, after they lost their parents. He liked Tali, but he liked the idea of his sister being like that better, but he didn’t show it.
    “What is tomorrow?” Tali asked him. He smiled for a second and then thought about it “Tomorrow is something like a big competition.” He said, trying to explain as simply as he could. “In honor of the lunar eclipse, every year all the different factions gather in a specific place and host a fighting competition. There are lots of different types.. or should I say categories, different things. Hand to hand, magic, daggers, bows and mixed. Hand to hand is basically what Robin has been training for, you primly use your hands and legs to beat your opponent. With magic… Well that explains everything. Daggers, bows etc are what the name states and Mixed is what me and Destiny are going to participate in. Well , actually, Destiny is competing in many different types of fights. A mixed fight happens when you use many different types of weapons and magic, or even unarmed battle and the most skilled wins.” Shadow yawned and looked over to Tali who seemed a bit comfused. “It’s complicated, I know… But you will see tomorrow.” She grinned at him “Can I come?” she said excitedly “We’ll ask Brynjolf, but why not?” He said “Now we both need to rest because tomorrow we’ve got to train and you’ve got regain your strength, so that one day you will do the same. Ok?” Tali seemed a bit sad that he would be leaving so soon. “Well alright. What If I stay here and sleep right next to you? Will you be a good girl and sleep?” Tali nodded excitedly as Shadow half-lied down and the pair quickly drifted into sleep.
    Serah Estiph woke up as soon as the night fell. She had been camping out at a makeshift camp in the Riften woods - it had everything she needed: a tent, bed roll, fire and food. She had to feed and the two people there had been the perfect opportunity; it didn't hurt that they were the Shadow Lords' scouts, either. She stretched and clambered out of the tent. It was then that she noticed a flyer in one of the scouts' pockets; she took it out, carefully so as not to rip it. 'Looks like there's going to be a fighting competition.. Hmm. And I was associated with the Thieves Guild back in the day; I wonder what they're like now? Well I'll just have to find out.'
    She began preparing herself for travel; she drank a resist fire potion to help with the coming sunlight sensitivity and donned her hood. Then she set off toward Riften, curious at what tomorrow would bring.
    John reached for his mask and pulled it down under his chin and smelled the air, he could tell where everyone was in the palace but there was something that gave him pause, it was hardly there and it was different in some way from scents that he had encountered in the past but he couldn't tell how, *it's was somewhere near the ceiling but that wasn't right there weren't any guard posts up there if there were I would have sensed the guard, so that can only mean....* John thought just before he figured it out "The Jarl!" he said before ducking down and dashing past the guards, running through the hall and as John entered The Throne Room he looked around but couldn't see anything suspicious "STOP HIM!" "HE'S GOING FOR THE JARL!!" "ASSASSIN!!!" yelled some of the guards that John had run passed.
    after climbing the stairs John just barely dodged two big axes being swung at him by bending backwards as low as he could go
    *Ow my back, that's gonna sting tomorrow morning* John thought as he reached The Jarl "JARL GET DOWN, NOW!!!" John shouted pulling out his sword as he got in between The Jarl and the assassin quickly turning around he blocked the downward slash meant for The Jarl with his right hand holding the hilt while his left helped to try and push back the attack "Dark Brotherhood? since when you lot obey The Shadow Lord!?" John said confused the assassin didn't reply he just push down with his sword "not a talker eh? fine we'll do it the hard way then, JARL get out of the Throne Room, NOW!" he said as The Jarl darted from where he was the assassin pushed John back and tried to kill The Jarl but was defected again by John "no you don't, you're dealing with me now" he said as the assassin watched The Jarl run into a backroom followed by 7 guards who shut the door behind them, the assassin's attention turned to John he looked quite angry as his eyes seemed to glow red "plops".
    The Rift, it was warm, so much warmer than the north. It was like a never ending spring. Yellow and orange dotted the landscape. The carriage wheels rattling against the course dirt. Everything was well, and I decided to check my wound. It was healing nicely, hell it was sealed and didn't hurt anymore, after I had some potions, that I had stolen at Windhelm and I pocketed what I thought was just enough for this ride. Surely they would not miss two potions and about sixty septims, the driver wanted forty, and I was just too happy to pay him. I kept playing with one of the loose coins while waiting for the driver to say we reached Riften, a nice town located in The Rift.
    "Crap," He suddenly muttered.
    "You see that over there? It's a felled tree and something's probably waiting just about there." He continued on, slowing the carriage down so the horse was just trotting forward.
    "You think it's bandits?" I asked, hoping for some other answer. I had enough stuff already happening.
    "Probably, I'm going to turn around. You've got anything to defend yourself with mate?" he eyed me curiously, the horse stopped fully.
    "Ah it's probably for the best anyway, This carriage is probably one of the only thing you have to your name," I said casually, while hopping off the carriage.
    "Wait well, that dagger ain't going to do much good, here and best of luck to ya," He looked hurt at first, but then tossed me a steel Axe after eyeing the dagger I had in my hand and the tightly fitted leather padding on my legs, arms and shoulders. It was all I could pinch besides the potions, Think it was meant for a girl. The carriage driver turned and started along the opposite way of the road. Well I had to continue on, I had to get to Riften for some reason. It was just important to me. I started the walk, the padding was a bit irritating but I kept it on as it might prevent a wolf bite and arrows just might pierce it. I looked around as the wind gently picked up. The trees swayed and the leaves crunched beneath my feet. It was still sunny, and whatever fell the tree was probably still there. Waiting. Watching. A group of crows were scared off, cawing off whatever disrupted them. I slowly proceeded.
    It was nothing but a warning. There was a overturned carriage, a fine carriage that carried royals or sorts. Two dead guards, and a dead horse. Nothing else. I looked close at the bodies and they seemed to have been chewed at, probably what the crows were going after. They had a huge wound right through their abdomen, and probably if it wasn't for their armour would have been sliced nearly in half. I checked their pockets quickly, only finding a loose septim or two. Their weapons were missing and they were already probably checked for their gold. I was probably just glad this didn't happen to me. I walked on.
    Riften, a place of many things. Home to Mara's temple and what seemed to be happiness yes at the same time home to an orphanage, and the thieves guild. The guard grumbled when I walked towards him, I nodded at him and he nodded back.
    "Down the road, think a carriage was raided. I found two dead guards and the carriage overturned, Nothing else." I said to the guard, who suddenly jolted awake.
    "Damn, That's another one then. It gotten problematic. Royal you said? That's probably one of the Shadow lords more important people. He passed through a few days ago, left this morning. He had a few packages to deliver. He also said he needed to collect the month levy from the Jarl. Ah well go right in, it's unlocked." He mumbled on, seeming irritated. I don't think this was good for Riften at all. I went in, and the guard followed, leaving his companion at the front gate. He walked towards the keep, and I to the nearest Inn. It was called the Bee and the Barb. I was hungry so I ordered some stew and water, mainly as I didn't have enough for something stronger. The barkeep looked at me, An Argonian.
    "What brings you here? Another one trying to get south? Well the rest of us have to live in Skyrim?" She said irritably, slowly rubbing the spill of another patron from the table.
    "No, I actually don't know. I felt like something important is here, I just don't remember." I answered her, and she seemed to have pity for a moment.
    "As long as you don't cause trouble here, We're fine." She said, before turning to another customer and left me to eat my stew.
    The Jarl was close. Close enough to die. A man entered, He came in hurriedly. He started shouting, he was somehow alerted to my presence. One of the guards almost got him. I dived, my blade an inch away before another blade touched mine. The man said something, but I didn't care. He was just in a bad position. My hand met his chest and pushed him back, he nearly fell. My blade started for the Jarl again. It was deflected again. I looked back at the man after the Jarl went into some back room, He said something. I didn't care, but I knew I had to get through him.
    I could feel it. No ordinary man would face what seemed like a Dark Brotherhood member.
    No Ordinary man would be able to block my blade with such ease.
    No Ordinary man would be able to detect the unseen.
    No man at all.
    A vampire?
    Hasn't got the eyes.
    Beast, perhaps?
    Yes. That seemed the better option.
    A beast.
    This will be fun.
    Very fun.
    Purple mist would flood the ground soon, and mix with his blood.
    Serah Estiph had finally arrived. She rode up to Riften's stables on a horse as black as midnight, hood pulled up to cover her glowing vampiric eyes, not to mention to dispel some of the harsh glare of the sunlight. She had gotten lucky - on the way to Riften she had found the remains of what looked like a bandit raid. A cart was overturned, it's merchants dead, but their horse was miraculously left alive and any wounds it had were easily healed with a bit of her Restoration magic. So she had decided to keep this horse as a sign of good things to come.
    Serah pulled the horse into an empty stable slot and hopped off, being sure to tip the stable hand a few septims to take good care of her new equine companion, before heading inside Riften proper.
    As soon as the gates shut behind her, she knew something was wrong. Even though the rest of the town seemed unaware, Serah had experience enough with danger to know something was up, and so she headed to what she felt was the source, The Bee and Barb.
    'Even if I'm wrong,' she reasoned, 'I'll need to rent a room for the next few nights anyway.'
    And so with this thought, she opened the door to the tavern - only to find chaos inside. She decided to blend into the background as best she could before she intervened, not knowing what was going on yet and who, if anyone, to help. So she acted normal as possible in such a situation, shut the door silently behind her, and with noiseless footsteps she slid into the crowd that was beginning to gather; never taking her eyes off the fight in front of her.
    The Light and Darkness Dragon
    “If she is mad at me I am never going to let you take control again” Ace said in his mind angrily “What?” Octavian asked completely ignorant of what he had done “You almost broke the back of his skull you imbecile. He was kinda drunk and you had the idea to take control of my arm during the fight? What are you? An idiot or something? “Octavian stayed silent. He had the nerve to take control of Ace’s arm to swipe down Phoenix during the fight. Ace just wanted to throw him unconscious but the stupid dragon almost killed him. He walked in the boy’s dorm along with Robin who was carrying Phoenix. He helped him lay the injured thief on a bed and then they stood still staring at each other. “I understand the you were infuriated, but that was going a bit too far Ace” Robin said demanding for an answer “I wish I could tell you my friend, but it is a long story that you might not want to hear. Let’s just say that sometimes… it is not I that is in control. I did not mean to hit him that hard” he replied ashamed for the dragon’s shake. Robin kept on looking at him and then he turned at Phoenix who was snoring. “He always had such an attitude. Maybe it was about time someone put him in his place… it was still harsh though” then he turned at him again “Go to sleep, tomorrow is the competition” he said as he fell asleep. “Ok…” Ace agreed and fell on his bed. But he could not sleep, he was not used to sleeping in the same room with others… and Phoenix’s snore did not make things easier. He stood up and looked outside the window. He could see the trees moving as the wind passed through them. He opened it, and a cool breeze hit him on the face. He did not like cold, but this temperature was quite refreshing. He jumped outside and sat on a branch. It was wide and big enough so that he could sit on it without worrying about falling. He laid his back on the trunk and closed his eyes. It was the first time he slept peacefully, without any dream about the Shadow Lord. When he opened his eyes, the sun had just appeared throwing its rays across the area. He stood up, brushed himself and jumped back at the room. “Good morning” Octavian greeted him in his mind “’morning mate “he answered and he laid on his bed waiting for the others to wake up. Not much time has passed when Robin twisted on his bed and looked at him. “Good morning man “he nodded “Slept well ““Actually yes, but it was hard at first. The snoring and stuff” he replied. Robin stood up and stretched himself “I know that feeling bro, it took me quite some time to get used to it” he chuckled. “Get used to what” Phoenix asked, who had just woken up and was rubbing his eyes. “Nothing” Robin responded hastily “Slept well? How are you feeling?” “Pretty good” “’morning man” Ace nodded at him as he walked towards the door. Phoenix humped “He is still mad at me” Ace thought as he reached towards the handle. No sooner had he grabbed it, when the door opened and Ruby with Destiny busted inside. “Good morning everyone!!” Ruby shouted, then she looked down “Ace are you still sleeping?” she stared at him who was on the floor holding his head that had a red mark where the door hit him “Yeah I wanted to sleep on the floor cuz the bed was not enough for me. What were you thinking girl, you brought the door on my head” he complained as Destiny helped him to his feet. “Sorry” Ruby apologized “Are you alright?” Destiny asked him with a slightly caring tone in her voice “I am fine, thanks” he responded and smiled back at her “Good, she does not hate me” he thought relieved “That is good for me right? You will give me skooma, right? “Octavian popped in his mind “By Alduin’s fangs, don’t you ever shut up? Yes I will, but not now “ The dragon stayed quiet as he retreated at the back of Ace’s mind. He looked at the others who seemed surprisingly energetic that day. Phoenix was talking to Robin and was punching the air in front of him. Ruby jumped in the middle of them and said something, Robin nodded. Destiny looked at him and started walking “ Hey, how did you sleep? “ She asked “Quite good… Can I ask you something? Tell me, what is going on today and everyone is so excited” Destiny chuckled “Today is the big competition. Teams from all over Skyrim come to Bee n’ Barb and compete against each other” Ace’s eyes widened “Is that so?” Destiny smiled and nodded “Why? Do you have something special in mind?” “Oh yeah” he smiled wickedly “Oh yeah” Octavian’s voice echoed in his mind “Come on, we are going back” Robin shouted and jumped out of the window followed by Ruby. Phoenix took a look at them and then jumped. Ace and Destiny looked at each other and jumped as well. They did not talk much o the way. Ace could tell that everyone was thinking of the games. It was not long before they arrived at Riften. They immediately rushed to the guild’s training grounds. Almost every member was there, sharpening their weapons or fighting against each other. “Shadow is not here?” Ace asked. Destiny shifted uncomfortably “Seems like not” She replied with a skeptical expression, but troubled as well. Ace did not know what was going on between them, but whatever it was, it was important “Most likely it has something to do with that last ‘test’ you had to do” Octavian suggested “You remember the argument between them, it was quite intense” he said as he took a look at Ace’s memories of last night “Yeah…Hey, get the fl*ff out of my memories” Ace shouted in his mind. Octavian chuckled but did what he was told. Destiny paired up with Robin and started to fight with their daggers “Want a pair” a familiar voice echoed behind him. Ace turned to see Ria, with her sword and dagger in hand “I mean a training pair” She blushed as she realized what she had just said. Ace laughed “Yeah, why not?” he said as he took out his scroll and summoned his staff. This time, the female thief fought more elegantly, more careful, and in general better that their first encounter “I have had practice since last time” she smiled and he smiled back. Time passed, Ace did not know exactly how much. Then a voice was heard all over the grounds that made everyone stop and turn “Alright thieves, today is the competition day, good to see that everyone is training. Now… who wants to show me the results of his or her training” He clenched his fists. Almost everyone took a step back. Other mumbled but did nothing more. Ace looked around and then thought for a moment “Wanna go for it?” Octavian asked excited “I want to know how strong that Brynjolf guy really is” He took a step forward and shook his staff. Flames tendrils engulfed it “Bring it” he shouted as he charged. Brynjolf looked at him and smiled, like he expected that. He drew his sword and parried his strike. Ace was instantly pushed back. He took a step back and drove his staff on the side of Brynjolf’s sword. The push-back enchantment effect did not seem to apply at his hits, even though it was draining a small amount of magicka from him. “Nice enchantment” Brynjolf commented as he kept on pushing Ace back “It does apply” Octavian said shocked “And had no effect at all, just how crazy strong is that guy” Ace replied “Careful, here he comes” Octavian warned as Brynjolf stepped back and pushed him harder than before pinning him on the wall “Man, what the heck, are you a Dremora of some kind?” Ace shouted “No” Brynjolf replied as he drew his dagger and drove it on Ace’s head. Ace managed to dodge the strike and by letting his staff he flipped behind the guildmaster driving his fist on Brynjolf’s back. He dodged it easily and turned around to face him. Ace’s mind started working extremely fast. On the ground behind Brynjolf was his staff. His enemy had his sword on his right hand and his dagger on his left. Ace had one normal dagger left, and an explosive one that he enchanted on his way there. He used his scroll to summon his daggers. He threw the normal one on Brynjolf. He took a step aside and the dagger hit the wall next to him and fell on the ground. In the meantime Ace had enough time to reach and grab his staff, he spiraled and slammed it with all his strength on the wall next to him sending dust everywhere around his enemy. Ace jumped behind and threw his dagger inside the cloud of dust throwing a fireball igniting it mid-way. Brynjolf stepped out of the smoke, but blinded as he was, he slipped on the fallen dagger and lost some of his balance. That was when Ace jumped in front of the thief “Now, you can’t dodge that” he shouted and punched Brynjolf’s head. There was a loud gasp as his attack connected. Ace smiled and relaxed. That was when Brynjolf slammed his whole right arm on Ace’s belly throwing him down and in pain. The next thing Ace saw was the tip of a sword in front of his eyes “You let your guard down” Brynjolf said, then he smiled and relaxed “Well done lad, that was a good fight” he said and turned away. When the master was some feet away, everyone ran to Ace’s side “That was awesome man” “Cool” “Nicely done” Ace blushed “It was hard” was the only thing he could say. His eyes drifted to the crowd and spotted Destiny “Hey” “Hey” she smiled “Good job” “Thank you” then he thought for a moment “It means a lot coming from you” she laughed “Wanna continue your training with me? Robin left” “I am afraid I have to decline” “Why so?” “I have to do… my own training…” his eyes took the shape of a dragon’s. Destiny seemed to understand and left. Ace was about to leave when he spotted Shadow and Brynjolf talking, then a little girl appeared and joined in the conversation. Ace looked at her. Her eyes drifted to the crowd and eventually she saw him “This smell…” Ace whispered “I know” Octavian replied in his mind “Her aura… does not seem normal” he kept on looking at her, but the girl grew uneasy and stepped back, could she be frightened? “An experiment or not, she is not older than 10 years old” Ace thought. He smiled at her and she seemed to relax a little. Ace turned and left. When he was out, he took his shirt off and his wings appeared. He flew to the highest tree he could find. “No wonder the Shadow Lord wants the city gone” Octavian said “Yeah… three of us experiments… in one town” “There might be more” “A battle is coming” he said as he gazed at the horizon “I can almost see it… the shadows… are approaching”
