Ive always been fascinated in the Dwemer ruins, And how they mysteriously disappeared, learning about how they lived and how they prospered. And as up to now there is not much that is clear about them. So much fragmented history and missing records. The main part is that there is no one alive to tell the story. I am hoping that maybe in the close future or distant dependimg on how long from now the secretive Betesda decides to take on making TES VI, that maybe we will learn more about the the Dwemer. Any thoughts? Any suggestions on the subject? Maybe questline names. :)

I actually don't really care much for the Dwemer. I hate having to go through the Dwemer ruins, they are too loud with the mechanical churning, banging and hissing. Most are too long too. I wouldn't want a whole game about them, but maybe a side quest line or something like that.

Well yeah obviously a whole game about them would he hard, i did mean like a couple questlines though. To me running through blackreach was a wondrous historical sight, also when the Dragonborn DLC came out and we were able to run through the Solsthiem ruins it kinda made me happy to learn how different they lived there then in Skyrim.

I'm also not a huge fan of going through the REALLY REALLY REALLY long dwemer ruins. The short ones I don't mind as much. Although, I would love to know what the hell happened to them. How do they just mysteriously vanish? Especially considering all their advances in technology and knowledge. I hope they include a quest giving us some explanations. I also find it curious how all their little dwarven spiders and whatnot still work and protect the ruins... are they waiting for the dwemer to return? I don't think the dwemer are dead, personally. If they were dead, there should be some evidence of bodies or at least something. My theory is an experiment went wrong, or perhaps they made a bad pact with the wrong dude, like Hermaus Mora (spelling) to gain more knowledge. Maybe they created some kind of transportation machine and they poofed somewhere... who knows. But I agree with you, I hope they add something!

As far as the dwemer race themselves, I think they're a bunch of assholes though, mainly considering what they did to the Snow Elves, or falmer as we know them now.

As far as bodies go it was said alot of the Dwemer race vanished during the war at Red Mountain. Lava is hot enough to dissolve hundreds of skeletons. Also it wad said they "scorned the Deadra and mocked their foolish rituals" one of the armies they faught at red mountain was the Dark Elf races hence (the biggest Daedra worshippers) they could have pissed off the Deadra enough to destroy the whole race. Honestly wouldnt doubt that as a possibility. Or like you said they could have created a device to transport them. They always thought they were as "godlike" as the Deadra, cause of their superior knowledge. They could have created their own plane of Oblivion and moved the whole race there. So many possibilities out there its INSANE. If the Dwarven security technology is actually awaiting their arrival back to Mundas that would make them "creating their own plane of Oblivion" more realistic. Or maybe the just forgot to turn them off when they left lmao. To be honest if i was in Tamriel i would be a Dwemer Excavator. Exploring ruins and finding ancient knowledge and artifacts the Dwemer left behind :)

Hey again! You might find this interesting. I was looking up the dwemer online because reading the books scattered around Skyrim is sometimes a pain to paint a big picture, especially when the books cut off and you don't have the next part. I found this blog, you might find it interesting. It puts it all together and they have some interesting ideas.

I believe there's 3 parts! Enjoy hopefully :)

I know you were joking.... but honestly, I wish they would add a DLC or something with Valenwood! It would be absolutely beautiful with all the cities up in the giant trees and all. Plus the wood elves are so nice, mostly.

I agree with you completely. I love clearing out Dwemer ruins, and Blackreach is truly a sight to behold. I think they were transported to a plane of Oblivion due to their experiments on Lorkhans Heart. The Dwemer were attempting to reach godhood and they paid the price dearly.

Is it the Bosmer or the Dunmer that are cannibals? I'm up for any DLC where I can play a cannibal. Oh wait... I forgot about Namira!
And the Companions... and...
