Aela is missing. Probably a glitch need help!!

First off im not a noob so please no comments on simple solutions. Ive tried almost everything this post is for any other possible solutions. Also im playing on PS3. Ok now... i started the companions missions "Take Up Arms" and im supposed to bring Aela her sheild. I know, easy right?? Well it would be if she wasnt glitched out somewhere. The problem is she has 3 markers on the map. I do not have any other quests checked. Also when i go to one thats at Bleakwind Basin "Giants camp" shes not there but on my map it says she is. But in the navigational bar the marker says shes in Whiterun when im at that giants camp, and when i stand outside Jorrivaskr the navigetional bar says shes in Whiterun somwhere. And last but not least there are no floating markers anywhere for her. And i have that selected in settings. So if anyone can help please do so. I am 95% sure im SOL but any solution is better then not being able to complete the companion missions. Ive already tried: 1.waiting several days.
2.unselecting "take up arms" and selecting and doing another mission
3.reloading from save points.
I seriously dont want to go back and start the mission over cause ive already done too much other missions to redo them.

Are you sure she isn't just dead, Dragon/Vampire attacks cause many casalities. You may just have to start a new save if thats the case.

Aela cant die. But i actually found her she fell under the map of whiterun so i had to do a long and tedieus process of getting her back ontop the map and in whiterun by attacking her making her mad, and a combination of bashing and unrelenting force to push her back on the map

Aela can die, but only after you finish the quest Glory of the Dead.

I'm surprised fast traveling didn't bring her along. If you're on PC, there's the placeatme command, to pluck her from wherever she is and stand her next to you. No such command on console, though.

No she wasnt my follower this is when i had to take her her shield that Eorlund Grey Mane gives you to take to her. And no Aela cannot die she is a protected character/follower. And i play ps3

Sorry for the late reply, but Aela can die after the Glory of the Dead quest:

Check outside of Whiterun. Usually, the first encounter with the Companions is when you are travelling to Whiterun for the first time in the game. You encounter Aela and a few other companions battling a giant near one of the farms to the SE of the city stables. Aela might be stuck outside of Whiterun near this location. That's all I can think of.

Also.....It says in the Quest "Take Up Arms" where you have to give Aela her shield, that she is supposed to be in her living quarters. Have you been in the Companions living quarters yet? It can be a little hard to find at first. There are stairs in the Companions Hall that lead down to the living quarters.

Yes bro like i said in my previous post she fell under the map. Im not a noob ive been playing since this game came out at the moment i couldnt figure it out. She some how got glitched out under the map under a "GIANTS CAMP" not the same place where they are fighting the single giant before you join. Also like i said in my previous postings ive already done the simple solutions, and the resolution indeed wasnt one oft he simple things, i had to crawl under the map in whiterun and walk all the way towards the giants camp outside whiterun and attack aela and bash her and fus ro dah her all the way back to whiterun and back on top of the map. And use a calm spell to get her to stop attacking from there.

Ahh. I didn't notice your second post. Well...At least you found a solution....
