I love weekends spent playing Skyrim . . . but they go by so fast!

I love weekends spent playing Skyrim . . . but they go by so fast!

Then don't play so much Skyrim. Don't ask me how I know. . . . ;)

Here we see ShayDLane standing up in a packed auditorium, and she says, "Hello everybody. My name is ShayDLane and I'm a Skyrimaholic." ALL the members of Skyrim forums replies in unison, "Hi, ShayDLane!"

Then we all go back to playing Skyrim on the platform of choice, ignoring everyone else around us. :D

Welcome to the forums! :p I don't understand why everybody keeps talking about Skyrim so much. It's not like this is Skyrim Forums or something... Oh.. Wait... Nevermind.

Thank you Deadliest_Troll! LOL I'm so addicted to Skyrim. I downloaded the update and now I have to take my MODs out. Sigh.

I have most of my mods back in the game. I'm happy! I LOVE being able to use a bow from horseback. It's going to take some practice though lol

Yeah, a lot has happened recently but things are getting back on track so I have time to relax and play.
I actually haven't played in a while and haven't yet gotten Dawnguard but hope to soon. How've you been?

No Dawnguard yet? Think you'll like that when you get it. Good to have other choices of races to be other than just the usual. I have it and played it, though have yet to finish it. It's fun; I like it. Haven't bothered with the Hearthfire DLC yet, and not sure if I'm gonna. Definitely got the Septims now to build my own Dragonsreach. lol :beermug::eek::beermug:

Thanks for asking, and things are good in these neck of the woods. Not playing Skyrim as much (THE BLASPHEMY!) just trying to focus on another side-quest to the main game. Another main game, I should say.

I didn't know there were new races in Dawnguard... unless you are talking about the Vamps.... And I'm so out of the loop that I hadn't even heard of Hearthfire. I'm looking that up now! I do plan on getting it eventually... just have to be careful of the finances.

Ooop, my bad. Always think of the Dawnguard as a race, when they're merely humans. Right, you got the vampires and you can even choose to be a werewolf. Those two even come with their own perk trees. From what I've gathered, Hearthfire is pretty much about the home life. You can build your own house, depending on how much coin you have, it can be most grand. You can even adopt kids from orphanages, so when you're not home, they can rip you off of all your possessions.:eek::D

Coolness! I already wanted Dawnguard and now I definitely want Hearthfire (I have a thing for building virtual houses!). I'm thinking I'm gonna get both this weekend (good paycheck). :)

WooHoo! Reckon that means no one should go looking for you this weekend on the forums, huh?;):D Speaking of which, on these same forums I've seen a thread or two about a third DLC. Something about the Dragonborn. Can't confirm if that one's rumor or fact though.

Happy playing! :D:Dovahkiin:

I'm loving Dawnguard and Hearthfire! I was very pleased to find that Hearthfire was only $5 at Gamestop. I'm still in the very beginnings of the new DLCs but definitely enjoying them. Haven't even felt inclined to start adding my mods back in lol

Good to know. Yeah, think they priced Hearthfire that cheap cuz they took a lotta grief at Dawnguard being on the pricey end. For DG, I'm playing both sides and I've gotten farther with the DG playthrough, than I have with the vampire one. Should just get HF already, as I've amassed so much coin through my first character that it's on the ridiculous side. There's no way I can spend even half of the amount I have. Play HF and just build one big-ass house. lol :D:eek:

Skyrim is my escape from real life when work gets to be too much and I just want to play. I share my love for Skyrim with my fiance and we play on and off, him on the PS3 and me on the PC. I've been reading the forum for a while and decided to join (since I'm bored but too tired to play, and my fiance is working - poor baby). Anyway, I want to make some friends and learn lots more about Skyrim. Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

I start too many Skyrim games/characters to note all of them here.
I'm a twenty-six year old female, living in the US.
I just play Skyrim (I haven't played any of the previous Elder Scrolls).
I have many interest outside of gaming - my horse Romeo, horses in general, the outdoors, biking, hiking, pets and animals, music, writing, reading, learning, scrapbooking, guitar and much more.
I may never master anything, wasting my time dabbling in all the things I enjoy, but horses are my passion. I'm such a girl. ;)
I agree, it is an escape from reality. To a world that can be substantially better than the real one, or very very worse....look at me, I almost forgot:
