1. GAME CRASHING/FREEZING
2. When you dual weapons and sheath them...you cant see the other weapon.
3. Leaving out certain Weapons (No crossbows, spears, throwing daggers/stars or staves)
4. The fact you can hold unlimited items (no challenge there)
5. Starting out with magic (it should be earned, bought or taught)

Totally agree with that, im a PS3 user and my save file is up to about 9mb, which is starting to cause hectic lag, and freezes, but it comes and it goes, also the load time when first starting the game is ridiculous.

the duel weapon thing isn't so bad but it would look alot better if it did show.

the lack of weapon choice as you said irritates me, i mean look at morrowind, it had a HUGE selection of different weapons.

the unlimited items thing isnt all bad, hence why we have a weight limit, sure you can make your character so buff you can carry anything, but thats just retarded.

the magic, straight off the bat, the magic is quite OP, but i agree you should have to learn/buy it, not get it straight away, unless its a racial spell.

also one more thing that annoys me is the lack of high gold vendors.

EDIT:eek:h and one more thing, EVERY TIME i travel to the Dark brother hood sanctuary in dawnstar, a dragon spawns.

For me its (no particular order):

01. The glitches/bugs (agree with ill wil & Moray both). One of my characters can't become the Thane of Riften because of the bugged Jarl while another is forever alone after killing her spouse (but never getting the courier that gives the Jarl's sympathies). And the freezing...needs no explanation. Hopefully at least some of these bugs will be addressed soon.

02. The marriage/spouse system. I like the implementation but the way it was done I didn't like. No real quest to win someone's hand in marriage, just wear an amulet and they're interested? I would prefer to have fewer options (at least one or two for each race/gender) BUT they have certain preferences (race, gender) and maybe even some more personality. Maybe the Nord barbarian protector of the wilds doesn't like evil assassins or elves while a power hungry thief may not go for a good guy/girl. I'm not asking for romance with the depth of a Bioware game (not that there's anything wrong with that...) but at least give it some substance. And if your spouse dies, there should be an option to remarry (or fix that damn bug that prevents a certain messenger from giving the Jarl's sympathies).

03. The absolute nerfing and retconning of Redguards and their abilities. Seriously all other races have bonuses in appropriate areas. Argonians are natural thieves with a dabbling of magic. Bretons and High Elves are natural mage type classes. Khajiit and Bosmer are adept thieves and assassins. Orcs, Nords, and Imperials are great warriors. But Redguards? Oh Bethesda what did you do? Redguards have historically been inclined to warrior classes and made the worst possible race for mages in every other TES game but now they're adept in Alchemy, Alteration and Destruction? Why couldn't those bonuses be slapped onto Light/Heavy Armor and Two Handed like they would in every other game? Add that to the fact that Redguards are naturally suspicious of magic lore-wise...yeah that was a nasty oversight on the devs part.

...Oh, and no braided hair/afro options for females? What gives?

04. Low gold vendors. This is a real annoyance. It sucks having to trek all throughout Skyrim just to sell all your goods. I have to go to Riften to sell my loot to three different vendors then head back to Whiterun or Solitude just to sell the magic stuff because of the low gold. Not cool.

05. Dragon battles. What was supposed to be the high point of the game really is one of its lowest. The dragon flying around in circles, too high to be hit with arrows or magic is extremely annoying. Plus, why are they so easy when they are supposed to be the biggest threat of the game? I've met sorcerers, trolls...and giants...fiercer than these creatures.

I love Skyrim but I will say these are my main annoyances and nitpicks hopefully addressed with a patch soon.

I SO AGREE WITH NUMBER 3.........I HOPE THEY FIX THAT TOO BUT KNOW GAMING COMPANIES THEY WILL ONLY ADD NEW STUFF AND NOT "REALLY" FIX THE OLD.

As a console user, playing as my mage, switching spells takes entirely too long! I understand going from spell to spell isn't supposed to be instant but I have gotten in situations where the delay between switching has killed me (or maybe the fact that I got myself in the situation to begin with!).

Friendly Fire on companions. Yes I understand if I were to shoot fireballs out of my hands IRL it would hurt both my friend and my enemy but this is a game! There have been multiple times where there are 3-4+ mobs, so I dual cast Fireball and end up killing Lydia or Uthger or whoever I have had to hire, whereas a simple no damage to friendlies while in a hostile environment could have been added!

The weapon sheathing is something I have thought about but hasn't bugged me all to much. However it could have been a simple fix, your secondary 1H goes across your back just like your 2H, no big change in coding or implementation there.

Will add more as I remember... too tired now! lol

I don't think i properly HATE 5 things in this game :) Honestly, it is the best surprise of the year (by far) to see such quality product, I knew something not too bad was coming, but not THAT good :)

Anyway :
1) 1st and foremost, vendor menu bugging out when clicking on certain category, exiting the menu altogether. Probably the 1 point I really hate.
2) quick selection menu, and more precisely, numerical shortcuts on it, which cannot draw objects or spells on the left hand (or I didn't find how to, yet ... )
3) Dragon flying around for hours above you out of reach
4) vendors are all poor
5) Several bugs. I'm currently running around with 2 permanents arrows in the chest. Not the sexiest outfit imaginable

1)If you wear the best mage items together, clipping issue and then disappearing face.
2)Dragons are easier to kill than bears.
3)Limited vendor money
4)Companions can be killed (instead of just knocked out fallout style) very easily.
5)You can't kill children.

1. Keeping your left hand and right hand separate, sometimes i just need to shoot a fire ball from my left hand to kill a wolf, i don't need to pull out my sword, which takes like 4 seconds.

2. the big issue here, vendors having less money than your common street bum.

3. Dragons need to be death oh mighty, the hair on the back of your neck should stand up when you hear it roar.

4. friendly fire as said above.

5. More ruin/dungeon types, i would like to see some other than blind cave people, or angry dead people.

4)Companions can be killed (instead of just knocked out fallout style) very easily.
5)You can't kill children.

I don't like the idea of unkillable Companions. I would like to see killable children. I loath unkillable anything, including main quest characters. Morrowind would let you kill main quest characters and told you when you did it, so you'd have the option to reload if you wanted. My belief is they went with the daft unconscious thing with Oblivion and Skyrim because they were on consoles too, and were worried about kids complaining when they couldn't complete the second from last mission in the main quest because they'd slaughtered that contact within their first minute of play.

I agree with many points that have been made here. Broken quests are my number one hate though. I can fogiven and overlook a lot, but this is inexcusable in a game that I spent $60 on. Cuurently I'm not playing my main character and main quest character due to this.

Lack of variety in weapons. As Moray said, Morrowind had a ton and that was ten years ago.

Cookie cutter Inns bother me too in small towns. Some NPC architect is making some major damn royalities.

Oh, I wanted to add the fact that consoles don't get to set up weapon sets, and have to manually pick them in your favorites tab. I have yet to use Left or Right on the D-Pad (Xbox360) and think that they could have mapped those buttons to TWO weapon setups... would have made it a blast!

NoVa

Bossmer
1. No goldbrand - It's been my favorite weapon since morrowind.
2. The ebony blade is now a two handed weapon for some reason when it was clearly one handed in oblivion.
3. No throwing stars/knives - also a favorite from morrowind.

I really like ninja weapons if you can't tell.

The inns are based on a historical model of a Norse Longhouse.

Yeah it's a shame there wasn't a more broad spectrum of weapons, but I'm happy with the looks of my conjured weapons!

The only thing that really bothers me is the fact that the vendors have no money at all. I'm happy when I find someone who has over 1,000 gold so I can sell two items from my inventory list. The fact that I have to prioritize what I sell based on it's weight and not it's price is retarded. Like in Markarth where you have to steal that one goddess statue and give it to the street bum who is happy to get one goid from you, gives you 250 gold for the statue. You turn to the left and prompt the closest vendor, she has 90 gold AHHHHHH (ノಠ益ಠ)ノ彡┻━┻

I am very disappointed with the interface. I am on a PC and used to play Morrowind and Oblivion where interface was excellent, but now looks like consoles take precedence, as far as the interface is concerned...

For the record. I like the economic model, why would a street vendor be carrying 1000s of gold pcs? If you went for a hike today and found a gemstone in a cave worth $25,000... who would you sell it to?

The beggar with 250 gold is retarded though.

I have to agree. It gives the game a sense of economical reality. Either spend your time going city to city, spend some talents in Speech to increase their capacity or sleep/wait 48 hours for them to replenish their gold.

Interesting. I stand corrected.

That said I still wouldn't mind a table in a different place.

Cyberote

Mayor of Zufadt
1) Freezing issues
2) Dragons get boring and easy to kill. I seriously am more afraid of Mammoths and Draugr Deathlords.
3) No attributes
4) Guards are still jackasses. I kill a chicken unseen in Riverwood and all of a sudden they know that I did it, where I am and are waiting for me in Whiterun.
5) Bard's College is a bummer. I thought you'd be able to actually play a lute, but noooooooo.

Rolanthis

Astral Planewalker
Overall, I love the game, but here are my nitpicks.
  • Numbers. Combat damage, healing values, etc would have been appreciated. A scrolling combat text mod will likely address this (ideally the design of this falls inline with the minimalist UI)
  • Glitches/bugs that prevent quest completion
  • Equipment sets. Bonus if they can be hotkeyed
  • Better hotkey control with hand(s) associations
