this is a post for all skyrim ghosts on this forum for all dark elves and dark elf choosers.

if you are chosen to become a real ghost character on skyrim tell me about your skyrim ghost character and why you choose to become a ghost and let this post become a topic for those who are ghosts.

explain your skyrim ghost character in detail.

You're talking about a ghost warrior right? Like a wrathful ghost warrior that uses dual wielding? I think there's a few other examples as well.

You are probably going to get mad at me because I didn't pick a Dark Elf and yet I am still posting here. I made a character that I think you could classify as a "ghost." I chose an Argonian for RP and if he gets caught he can activate his Histskin so he doesn't die so easily (I know you said a ghost never gets caught but lets be realistic). I put a LOT of points into Magicka first (up to 200 or so), then slowly built up Health and Stamina, eventually Health overtaking the other two.

(Expert Difficulty)
Conjuration - Bound Bow and Bound Sword are the only weapons he used, no Atronachs or Undead.
Illusion - Muffle, Quiet Casting and eventually Invisibility, no Fear, Fury, or Calm.
Alchemy - No Perks at all, just made Paralysis poisons for sticky situations.
Light Armor - Up to Wind Walker
Sneak - 1/5 in the first, then Backstab and Deadly Aim, but NOT Assassin's Blade.
Archery - Up the left side, ignoring Steady Hand.
One Handed - Armsman, Fighting Stance, Savage Strike.

Bound Weapons worked very well since I ignored Smithing and Enchanting. I pretty much had to use regular weapons until I could get the Bound Bow and actually have enough Magicka to cast it. I found that I could sneak up on anyone in broad daylight with Muffle and Invisibility, when my sneak was in the 50s and I only had 1/5 improved sneak perk. I didn't want to become too overpowered so I didn't take Assassin's Blade, don't use the Dark Brotherhood gloves, don't Smith or Enchant.

Oh, I understand now. Sounds fun, It'll be a good playstyle for my first Dunmer character too. Probably gonna do a self employed assassin thing, kill whoever I think needs to die.

Hardcore style (eat 3 meals/day; sleep; no fast travel; no carrying 20 greatswords and 500 potions; etc...)
Stalk my targets for a few days before striking at the perfect moment
No armour, where civilian clothes to blend in.
Only weapon I carry is a dagger (may use bound bow, mainly for protection when traveling)
Don't just leave dead bodies lying around (hide them, make it look like they died of an accident, frame someone, etc...)

I still don't get it.... so what happens if you get caught?

And what defines 'caught'?

How does one become a Ghost?

one that knows his or hers skill and also one that knows how to manipulate darkness and light and can hide and use his skill wisely and go transparent to totally invisible without any trace of being seen.

that is a ghost.

Ghost character?

Do you mean an assassin? Being sneaky etc?

being sneaky and using illusion spells to his or her advantage not just using spells but the ability in skyrim to understand night and day and best being done at night.

here are my knowledge hints for those beginner assassins.

remain hidden: rule number one

remain silent: rule number two

manipulate both light and darkness to your advantage: rule number three

always operate at night never day:rule number four

build up your skills to sneak and archery do not always rely on your blade when you have a low sneak skill:rule number five

know where your enemies are and target them and always pick the one off who is not looking at the other guy getting wiped off:rule number six

if they search hide to another location or go invisible:rule number seven.
