I was inspired by the shoe obsessed vampire to collect every hat in the game. It's good because there are not to many, but woe betied the peasant wearing one I haven't got

I The only thing I wish is that there was an xbox 360 patch out so us horse riders could use one hand & ranged weapons from horse back =[

Part of the dawnguard DLC lets you use melee on horse back; There is also speculation that you can use ranged weapons (Although that might just be the Crossbow!)

Sweetrolls, all my characters seem to have an uncontrollable desire to eat any sweetroll they come across, particularly at breakfast time. Luckily inkeepers almost always have a couple to sell.;)

I do this in every Jarl's palace I visit and sometimes use fus-roh-dah as well :D Also I like to litter Belathor's shop in the same way :D

I frequently do the same at Belethor's. I also jump on his table and blast stuff all over.

What is it about Belethor that provokes so much hatred?

For me it's the unctuous "Come back soon," as you leave. It makes me want to just turn around and give him the "Marked for Death" shout. Unfortunately, he won't die. I've tried.

You mean when he says "do come back" in a sleazy car-salesman voice? Every time I hear that I want to take a scalding-hot shower and scrub the residual slime off...

Yep. That's the one.

It's like saying "Niagara Falls" in old Stooges films.

"Slowly I turned. Step by step, inch by inch..."

The smarmy "Do come back" coupled with the obnoxious response to "What brings a Breton to Skyrim?". Whatever a--hole, I was just making conversation! The only other merchant that is even kind of as annoying is Grelka (and her, you can train light armor, then sell her a bunch of garbage 1% sneak rings and get all the training fees back, leaving her high and dry).

LOL, poor Belethor. With the "Do come back" line, he's probably being as cordial as he knows how - which is admittedly still skeevy as hell. :p

I like him and even married him for pl***s and giggles in one of my PC files. Damn, if he wasn't friggin' goofy as hell when we had the marriage talk, lol!

Was most of it centered around what kind of dowry you were bringing to the table? :D

Haha, actually, he saved the property talk until after he came home with me. At which point he made fun of my Whiterun pad, saying he'd seen bigger houses. But it was okay and he'd deal since it was MY house. Could have smacked him, lol!

But yeah, during the marriage talk, he was very, erm, keen on the idea. Almost sounding overly so. After I said I returned his interest in me, he gives me this creepy as hell "Good. Goooooood. *smirk*" I lol'd. Then sorta looked for a hot shower, haha.

...is not Sjadbek, he just runs him.

"You know, Mercer, if you're still considering moving the Guild to Solitude, I have a house there that would be more to your liking..."

Back to the topic: When playing as Sjadbek I feel compelled to pick up lootable bottles of mead, which brings up a significant ethical question: Is it right to pick up bottles of mead from Imperial soldiers he slays in battle, feeling that there's no point letting good mead go to waste, or would that effectively be stealing it from them in Sovngarde?

(With bandits, it's not even a question: "They're bandits and I don't want bandits in Sovngarde.")

Oh mead reminds me of another quirky obsession! Each of my many files can only prefer ONE type of mead. It may be Honningbrew, it may be Black-Briar, or it may be good old-fashioned "Nord mead" but once they've picked one, that's it. No changing. And they'll collect every bottle they find of their preferred variety but never touch any others (unless for a quest).

Can you wabbajack that "burdens" line outta her? Please?

I love that line... Each time say back just as sardonically... Good as my burdens live to be carried by you :p

You seem a decent fellow. I hate to die.

Oh I do, too, Start Dale. It's just that sometimes. . .sometimes. Laughed at your disagree with me as I find it interesting that when it comes to Lydia, members either love her or hate her. Hardly anything in between. If you haven't already, see a thread about Lydia elsewhere in the forums and man, the exchange gets rather heated. But in a good, debatable way, I thought. I've never seen any other follower get that hot/cold treatment like Lydia seems to generate. :)

I must have every single Dwarven Centurion Dynamo in Skyrim... I have four so far. I like to leave them in my riften property at the foot of the bed. Plus i want all the houses and max out all my Housecarls in the best gear. Though each one gets given only one type of gear. I spent at least ten hours over two days earning, dungeon diving, corpse stripping, jewel selling and stuff nabbing without doing a single full quest till i could buy Proudspire manor. I even would save by dropping money off into breezhome all the time and leaving all my excess cash.

Lydia: Steel Plate Armour
Iona: Ebony Armour
Jordis the Sword Maiden: Orcish Armour
Calder: Dwarven Armour.

Now what to put the Markarth one in... Hmmm...

So true i love her for all the flaws and bad attitude but mainly for her tenacity in a fight with someone seriously over powered compared to her. Best fighting quote ever "Nyyeeeaaargh!!!"

You know how Libertarian sites in particular have that political diamond map with a social dimension and an economic dimension? I think pro-vs.-anti-Lydia is probably the second dimension of Skyrim fan politics, the first of course being Stormcloak vs. Imperial.

The "Do come baaaaaaack" makes me want to turn around and put a sword through his chest. Also, I think he is a child molester. I tend to keep an eye on Mila Valentia when she hangs out at the marketplace. I'll definitely kill Belathor if he gets in a 5-feet radius around her :D
