How do you backstab a Dragon?
I've recently fallen in love with the Ice Storm spell. Just used it to get through Northwatch without getting injured at all. It's amazingly effective in spam mode and probably would have been even better if I used it's paralysis effect and one handed, but I just spammed it all the way through.

Does anyone else have favorite spells or spell combos that work on large groups for them? (Let's discount frenzy, mayhem, etc... - those are obvious).

I will not tolerate failure...
vampire lord bloodball single handedly the most powerful spell in the game by sheer damage in 1 blast, I believe it drains 25 health and does 150 health damage in a 10 foot radius when at max power and unlike spells of similar damage like firestorm you can spam the Bloodball and thats vanilla damage I use a Modded version from Better Vampires and Royal Bloodline that does much more then that.

The handicap there is that you have to be a vampire lord and not all of us want that. Besides, you can't exactly spam that spell, especially during daylight hours. :)

Really? I thought I'd have to stock up on ultimate health, magicka and stamina potions. Oh well, I've find out before too long. Eventually my Blackthorne will get to the castle and she's not the tail wagging sort and can't stand the smell of wet dog. :)

I've recently discovered the joy of the cheap amulet of talos plus the blessing of talos. I can use unrelenting force in brief shouts to the point where the dragon can't get a word in edgewise!

Oh vamp - you will survive against fire dragons ;)

Try conjuring a Frost Atronach to take aggro, and spam Ice Storm through it. The Frost Atronach will keep your enemies in place, all of them will be destroyed, but the Atronach is immune to the spell so it'll be fine. My favorite cheap trick that doesn't involve sneaking, alchemy or illusion.

I love Chain Lightning. Sneak around a corner, see two, three, or four bandits/spiders/apprentice mages and watch them all fall. Bwa-ha-ha!!

Agree, I also like conjuring a Storm Antronach and chain lightnening throught it. Very effective as well.

Runes with a potion of destruction, , plant the rune in sneak mode, then stand up and run away, , then listen for the '' boom, , , , aarrgh'' . . heavenly

I just made a bunch of +57% destruction potions. I've never used them before but I've got to give them a shot. It sounds like fun. Of course I also made a bunch of poisons too that I've got to try (I've been trying to work on pick-pocketing and failing miserably so I'll have to stick with it on weapons). I don't know why I bother considering that I can frenzy or rout just about anything. :)
