I've voted for the whole of Tamriel, but I think that's more of a fantasy than anything that's truly possible and not to the extent that most of us would love. I'd love to be able to roam the whole of Tamriel just adventuring or be able to sign up as a guard on a Khajiit trading caravan and travel the lengths of Tamriel with them. Or a lowly bard singing and playing for your supper (LP has a great mod on steam called become a bard allowing you to travel Skyrim singing in taverns). Or a courier, just you a horse and your delivery's. I loved the idea that Dragons Dogma had where a character you created could be hired by another gamer to help in their quest, this might be cool if you could hire other gamers characters via some sort of Mercenary guild earning that gamer cash for his game. Or have the ability to join a friends game with your character, I'm not talking MMO but just you and a friend playing. I love the Elder Scrolls and the idea of adventuring on your own, but sometimes it would be fun to fight off a horde of bandits with a mate.

As for what it'll be about I've no real idea, maybe something around the Aldmeri Dominion intent to conquer the whole of Tamriel, though I did read a blog post somewhere that wanted to see what happened to the Dwemer and the Snow Elves. A great mod idea would be if you were searching in a Dwemer ruin and you were beamed back into the body of a young Dwemer warrior or mage, and saw a fully working and lively Dwemer community in action. Realistically I'd except any new TES game in any area with the exited glee of a child in a all you can eat sweet shop.

I think it will encompass all of Tamriel no doubt. The Consoles are no longer holding them back, and PC's in 3-4 years, who knows what they could manage

The game could take place a couple hundred years after Skyrim. The countries could be different-they could've broken apart or joined together and formed new ones. Races could've combined and created new ones. So the next game could take place somewhere that doesn't even exist yet.

Thats not how races are made in ES universe. A mixture of Orc mother and Nord father would be orc.
High Elf mother and Argonian dad creates a high elf

(source- racial phylogeny)

I want some more races in the mix. Or somewhere like maybe akavir? I would love a race based on magic/stealth, because when i make a save file, I cant decide between magic and stealth. This role would fit well with the Tsaeci, but frankly, akavir would be a bad choice. It's an entire new continent, and we haven't gone through half of the one were on now! I would like to visit cyrodill again. Oblivion was my first TES game, and it would be fun looking back at places like dive rock, the arena, cheydinhal sanctuary, and the count of skingrad.
Dark elves are a mix of magic and stealth.

If the countries were joined together it'd be either under a re-strengthened Empire, or under the iron fist of the Aldmeri Dominion who somehow got the control over everything.

I wouldn't mind a game though in which as soon as you'd be playing a human race you'd basically be playing the hunted. But I'm not sure how that'd fit into a Middle Age-fantasy-scenario like TES.

it could have a dual questlines if you are mer you play one side human you play the other tho I don't know where beast folk would fall in there

Just as long as it includes a good immerse story-line. Then place wouldn't matter to me, it's interesting to see how they would express a province as per lore.

I really doubt they will make another one. They just made TESO so people will be playing that fir years to come. They might have wrapped it up. However if they do make a new TES then i think they would do hammerfell.

I always thought, since Skyrim had too many choices that had big effects on lore that may affect everything, they could only make prequels. For example, it's your choice whether the Dark Brotherhood is destroyed or lives on, it's your choice if Skyrim stays a part of the Empire, it's your choice if Azura's Star becomes the Black Star.

Yes, it has major affects on your world. Like if you have the choice of letting someone live or die it can affect your character's future. However this has nothing to do with my statement xD

I hope Elder Scrolls VI takes place on the continent of Atmora!! It has been hinted and rumored throughout the series that there are still surviving populations of humans there! With that being said, I want to see the Elder Scrolls VI take place there!

It would be equivalent to visiting the zones of Dragonblight, Storm Peaks and Icecrown in Northrend from World of Warcraft! Which is awesome!!

Also, lets not forget that this is the fourth Era in which Red Mountain erupted, changing the environment of Morrowind. That being said, the environment and climate of Atmora could very well be different in the Fourth Era I.E. warmer. That is if Bethesda decides to make it that way. Hopefully Bethesda will announce something about Atmora regarding that! :D
