Skyblivon or Skywind?

I will not tolerate failure...
I was watching a youtube video recently about the 2 grand Conversion that will add Oblivon and Morrowind into Skyrim's engine and both look incredible so far in their development. My question is what one do you believe would be more "Fun" to play within Skyrim's engine knowing full well via the Magic of console you could add things such as the Transformations to Oblivion and Morrowind which in turn could open up entire new realms of role play, Personally I am at a 50/50 between the two Conversions and can't decide whether I would enjoy using "The Nevevarine" or "The Champion of Cyrodiil" more but what are your thoughts on it and be honest what would be more enjoyable to play in Skyrim's engine and I want a valid reason why you think that.

Haven't they abandoned Skyblivion for now and working on Skywind until that's finished?

The only reason I chose Skywind is because I haven't played Morrowind and I think that is the better of the two to have a graphics and engine overhaul to bring it up to modern standards. I have finished Oblivion (on the PS3) and done just about every quest going and to me it isn't dated enough to need a major overhaul.

Although having said that by the time skyblivion is released the original game will be dated and who knows maybe the next Elder Scrolls 6 will be out however my gut feeling is Skyblivion won't get finished. Or they will make it in the ES6 engine instead.

Skywind. Morrowind had the world, combined with Skyrim's graphics and system, it'll be the best fan made game EVER.

Their website is http://tesrenewal.com - you may not have heard of it as they are not allowed to discuss it on the official forums for some legal reasons. You have to own original copies of both games + the expansion packs for Morrowind as well.

I would also say SW as there is a much larger discrepancy in the graphics and processing capabilities now vs. when the game originally was released. Both are interesting projects tho. It'll be interesting to see if one or both gets fully completed at some point. Both are huge undertakings, so both have a decent chance of not getting finished fully.

In case you didn't know I believe Skywind will be fully released later this year and then Morrowind will feel Brand new again and that is excellent news because that Legendary RPG means a lot to a lot of people and Skyblivon is pretty far in development as well go check out their development videos, hell I would download them now if I could just so I could explore the Nostalgia is overwhelming.


Everytime I watch that I want to play It for it is "Morrowind Reborn" And here is Skyblivon

Yeah I knew they were pretty far ahead with Skywind but Skyblivion there is nowhere near as much updates & recent forum posts on it. A lot of the landscape looks done but I think there's still a ton to do before its anywhere near complete. The video looks promising though so I'm hoping it will see the light of day in a year or two.
