I just made my first serious Argonian last night. I'm kind of struggling with RP, too. I'm just not very familiar with Argonian lore.

She's a light armor, one-handed + shield explorer. I've started using some Restoration and will delve into Illusion soon. I'm thinking of tackling the Dragonborn questline with her, and using her to introduce myself to the Dragonborn DLC (which I don't currently have). After a while I'll go save Derkeethus and get married when the amulet of Mara presents itself. That's all I've got so far. *shrug*

I currently have a sneaky/stabby character or I'd have probably gone that route with my first Argonian.

Well all old Farts is doing quite well at the moment, currently he is level 29 with all points into magicka.

He has mostly been doing some TG get and fetch stuff, and done the initial quest in the DB for Nazir. And of course some general dungeon diving for entertainment.

His stats are currently sneak at 74, Alchemy 94, illusion 51 (quiet casting only) and Destruction 68. I have 2 perks to choose but unsure at the moment, but as you all know i did say no armor for protection originally, which i will stick to, however as i use alchemy for buffs etc, im wondering whether to allow alteration into the mix, just for the odd time an archer spots me, being sneeky is useful on its own for protection, (they cant hit what they cant see), its a dilemna i cant decide on as yet. Still havnt done any enchanting or smithing and intend not to in the future either.
Overall its a great build, challenging at times, especially since i have dragons spawning now, but my ''Dragon busting potion'' is all i need.

Oh as for weapons and not using any, i did decide to use staffs as and when they become available seeing as they are magic based and dont have any melee traits at all.

Sounds good Twiffle. I am really enjoying my Argonian. Dragon fights are a little tricky, as he has no ranged attacks except for a simple hunting bow, but I am trying not to rely on archery so much as it is usually my most used weapon in the past. Well Faendal and Tiberius got attacked by a dragon when trading with the Khajiit's outside Dawnstar, and when it got down to low health it flew away, so Tiberius ran over miles of icy tundra (you can only imagine how that went down with the cold-blooded one) only to finally catch up with it and get eaten. After the reload, which included lots of smithing that he had to do all over again, he was able to defeat the dragon on the road just outside Dawnstar.. It's challenging to say the least.

..the Dragonborn DLC (which I don't currently have).

On what console do you play? If you play on 360, you can download them (all Skyrim DLCs) for free of the internet. All you need is a USB.

.

im on 360, how?

All credit goes to this guy:
You only need a USB and an internet connection (no gold required, just connection). If you don't have wifi on your 360 like I do, then
an ethernet cable and a laptop with wifi will do just fine.

You simply have to configure your usb, download horizon, download the DLCs and follow the video. You can find the download links under his video.

Are you refering that I'm an idiot or the dude who made the video? o_O I personally don't don't support piracy but if they're online we might as well use them. + The three 3 DLCs are available on the Marketplace for $45 if you want to pay for them.

Off-Topic:
Piracy is not the reason games are expensive, at least not on console. The main reasons are 'Huge budget -> Need even bigger profit' and simply 'Supply and Demand'. I can tell you tell this as someone who has studied economics and currently studies in the Gaming Industry department. AAA games will keep improving, which means the prices will keep increasing. You don't have to studied to know this. This is why I prefer buying Used Games. I'd say download the DLCs and enjoy your adventure with your badass Argonian ;)

So, I've been playing with the idea of my Argonian being a berserker.

Runs-To-Battle fed on the sacred psychotropic Hist Sap, deep in the jungles primeval. Now whenever he enters battle, he slips into a blind rage. Berserk and wild, he is as dangerous to friend as he is to foe, cutting down anyone in arms reach. Running down innocent and guilty alike.

When Vampires attacked Whiterun, he flew to the defenses. As his axe sank deep into the vampire's chest his eyes went dark. When when his vision returned to him he stood in the market of the The Plains District, in the shadow of the Bannard Mare. Carlotta Valentia cowered beneath him, clutching her daughter Mila.

There were bodies splayed around the well. Some strangers to him, others known to him only in passing. The road to the main gate was dotted with half a dozen more corpses. Blood leaking through rent armor, staining the cobblestones and filling the gutters.

He dropped his axe with a clatter and fled the city.

---
Game Play
Berserk!-When combat begins it doesn't end until health < 50% or everyone and thing is dead!

Bounties last- Runs-To-Battle will not place is trust and his coin in the hands of the corrupt guards. The bounties stand, he will not pay them off.

No Arrest! No surrender!- Live free or die hard! Argonians are slaves no longer, Runs-To-Battle will not be taken alive to toil in a mine or rot in a cell!

The challenge here is to stay the heck out of cities. Once bandits or Vampires or Dragons come calling, it all goes to heck! And as Runs's bounties in the various holds rise, his options to sell, smith, eat, sleep dwindle.

Ah man, that blows /: How did you looe data? If you mean crashing by the screen freezing when searching for the DLC, it's because you need to be online.

I'll dip my cookies in your tears.
This post made me want to play an argonian., so I went ahead and began an argonian mage. It's surprisingly efficient with fire bolts and healing hands (follower). If there is more than one tough enemy, like a chaurus, I'll then double summon (the perk which concentrates a dual cast into 1 more powerful spell) a fire atronach and let them have rip, firing from the sidelines and popping in to heal my follower, who by the way is Faendal, in full dwarven armor xD
