Help: Need A better backstory (Ideas)

How do you backstab a Dragon?
Ok no reply, I guess your not writing anymore so I guess I can start writing(?) :)
Sorry. I haven't been on so often in the last week or so since I got Oblivion. Let me read over the thread. I'll give it my full attention and see where we're at. Now I'm as obsessed with Oblivion as I am with Skyrim! Yikes!

Well, for a good backstory, I would suggest looking at what you want to do, and go from there. Like for example, my breton was to be a battlemage without the heavy armor skill, which is replaced by Alteration. I decided to do a backstory based on her being an illegitimate daughter of the queen of Daggerfall, and learned the arts of magic and combat when she was chosen to serve as her "half-sister's", the crown princess's, bodyguard/houscarl when she became queen. Then things spiraled from there.
