Hey Guys,

Sorry if this has been covered before, i couldn't find any info when searching.

I'm married to Lydia, who is also my follower. In the beginning i could sell items to her no problems (what a girl!)

Now however, when i sell an item to her, the item disappears from my inventory, but no gold changes hands - her balance and mine remain the same.

If i try to sell her something she can't afford, i still get the warning...

It's really annoying as one of the benefits of having the wife around is so I can sell her stuff without having to go to a town...

Anyone seen this before and know a fix?

Is she still following you while you're trying to sell to her? Try sending her home. Fast travel a few different places, then go to your home, and try to sell to her while she is not your follower. Maybe that has something to do with it? I've never heard of this glitch before.

As JClarke said, are you on PC at all? If so, I'm sure there's a few things you could do, but I'm on Xbox and can't help you with that.

Sorry guys, yes I'm on PC.

Yeah, she is my follower. I'll have to have a play and tell her to go home and see if that has an effect.

Let me know if it works, I'm curious!

Ok, so I played around with it. If i tell her to go home, and then go do a quest and come home i'll be able to sell my loot to her... weird. Once she joins me again, the same thing happens.

There might be something you can type in console commands to help stop that. There are many out there, surely someone has one for that.

Maybe ask Google about this? Be specific if you do. Hope it works out for you.

Just curious, telling her to go home is different than dismissing her. If you sever her connection as a follower she will go home. I used to sell stuff to my spouse at Proudspire, but since I get 50% of her
sales I started asking her to "follow me." Now I can give her lots of saleable stuff, dismiss her and she
will sell most of the items other than the ones that upgrade her weaponry and armor.
