***ANOUCK'S MASTER PLAN***
______________________________________________
Requirements:
  • Bacon
  • A Jeep
  • A rope
  • Hungry Putin
  • Justin Bieber CD
  • Ghetto blaster
  • A pick up truck
______________________________________________

STEP 1: RedNeK makes sure the bacon is attached to a rope. This rope will be tied to the Jeep.
STEP 2: Irish drives through Putin's yard in the Jeep and distracts him. When Putin notices the bacon, he will chase the Jeep. >_>
STEP 3: While Putin is being distracted, Medea dri have a ghetto blaster with Bieber music in the trunk. We make sure she gets to the Ukranian/Russian border, and the music will chase away all the Russian troops.

Good plan... but one major flaw... How are you guys going to resist the bacon and end up setting off your own trap  ???

So AS88 and I are not part of the plan? Well fluff you guys.

We'll go start our own pl***, come up with our own plan and maybe draw with some crayons.

There are two inhumane things one can not do to another country.
1: using nukes
2: sending DrunkenMage and AS88 their way.
I thought it was obvious: you are not part of the plan unless we are out of all other options. We can't do that to those people.

I'm going to need earplugs, unless you want me to compromise the mission by clawing my own ears off.

On topic:

Is what Putin doing wrong? Sure, but so were we when we invaded the Middle East, and even after finding out what got us there in the first place was a lie, we are still forcing "democracy" down those people's throats. I think the media is blowing the whole thing way out of proportion, as far as a "this could cause WWIII" scenario.

If we do go to war with Russia it will be a second Cold War, and I don't think that's even going to happen. Land wars in Russia are never a good idea. Dig Napoleon and Hitler up and ask them. Plus, in case everyone failed to notice, the U.S. is struggling enough economically, just to keep the wars in the Middle East funded. That being said:

Russia isn't the Soviet Union anymore. It doesn't wield the power it once did. What Putin basically did, was start a policy of destabilization and negative propaganda against Crimea. That way when his armies showed up at the border, they would be welcomed as heroes of the Russian people.

Neither side would want a conventional war. Believe me. It would end up destabilizing both America and Russia, and the whole world would suffer the consequences. Some people think that Putin is going to run over Europe if he reclaims Soviet territories. That would be suicide for Putin and the Russian economy, because it would awaken the sleeping dragon (america and it's industrial might) once again, and force us to get involved. This is not what Putin wants.

I have a scenario for you. It might sound "out there", but here it goes:

It's kind of odd how this crisis happened just when all this talk in the U.S. about cutting the military budget was going on.....isn't it?

It's almost as if there was some kind of meeting between world leaders (military industrial corporate types), to manufacture a minor conflict so all this talk of cutting the military budget would go away.....isn't it?

Que the media plops storm.

Did he start negative propaganda? I thought (and this was true of many of the Soviets) when the Union collapsed a lot of Russians were stuck outside of Russia. Did he he even need propaganda? Or did he finally make a move to get a region that was predominately Russian to begin with? I have mostly heard the "Crimea was already basically a Russian region" but is it true there was a propaganda in the Crimea region?

I mean I understand destabilizing Ukraine in general, but the Crimea how much was actually just Russian families making even more noise about wanting to be Russian again?

I don't utterly trust the source (I do have my own mind)

Can we get conformation: Copied from texts received today at pacific time 7:30 pm

"So Ukraine sent a mechanized battalion from a supposedly elite brigade with 21 APCs into Eastern Ukraine to suppress the rebellion. at least 6 vehicles defected/surrendered and the rest refused to fight and retreated...

Another Ukrainian column was surrounded by demonstrators and forced to hand over all its guns. The only Ukrainian troops that achieved their objectives are now surrounded in an airport and in surrender negations.

At this rate Putin won't have to invade. The rebellion will have all of Ukraine's military equipment in a week... And you can damn well bet no one in Eastern Ukraine is gonna fear the military again after today's "performance." (his own conjecture)

EDIT: Time Pacific 9:22 It is confirmed though Hard to tell if all the people were Russian or not. But it sounds like it is very Pro-Russian. Civilians interacting peacefully with the "pro-Russians" and people showing distaste for the Kiev loyal soldiers. Civilians claiming that the Ukrainian soldiers shot at them, when the Colonel of the Ukrainians said they didn't fire, he was booed.
