Everyone keeps telling me that. You don't win a debate against the DrunkenMage. You just get your ass beaten so bad, you don't even know it got beaten so bad.

Congratulations bro...

This thread is about Imperials versus Stormcloaks, not Priests of Arkay versus Necromancers.

Who would the Imperials and the Stormcloak support? The priests of Akay or Necromancers? Or both?

The Stormcloaks would support the Priests. As for the Empire, who knows? They'd probably just ask the Thalmor what they thought about the issue.

Most likely the Empire will support the Necromancers, since the Thalmor are magic users anyways.

Or they might support the priests, considering Arkay is one of their gods.

So was Talos until the Thalmor put the shock collar on the Empire.

Arkay was not banned. Just because the Thalmor are magic users, does not mean the Empire will support the necromancers because of it.

It all depends on the race I play as, if I am playing as say, a Nord, or Orsimer, or sometimes even an.... *Looks around to make sure no one is listening* Argonian... I will often go Stormcloaks for the fact that I think they fit a better storyline for those races (Don't ask why, I myself do not understand either), But if I am playing as an Altmer, Bosmer, or Dunmer, I will go to the Imperials (For the fact that Nords are rude and disrespectful little b!t*hes to these races, and deserve to die).

@Lorenerds, can anybody tell me where this could come from? Cut and scary (and confusing) dialogue, again.

Probably surrounding Elisif being assassinated.

Cut quest right?

anyways. I am thinking of making an orc 2h ebony blade-wielding brute. Thought about siding with the Stormcloaks because IF the Thalmor continue, who could be next on the choping block? Malacath? Boethiah? would this be viable?

Whilst I can't tell you where this could come from, I can tell you that I love your signature.

I swear someday I'll download that freakin' Creation Kit or whatever is required to check all files for cut game content. Dialogue, specifically.
Ah well, for now UESP will have to do.

Cut quest right?

Uh-huh.

Orcs tend to favor the Empire, they've had issues with Nords for a very long time in Skyrim.

No pest has proven more resilient to the Nords of Skyrim than the common Orc. The tusked people claim occupancy of our fair realm, stretching back before the time Ysgramor crossed the Sea of Ghosts. Though few written accounts still exist of that time, there is mention in the histories of the Companions uprooting Orc strongholds even as they burned the Snow Elves from the land.

Many jarls are remembered in song for dying vainly while attempting to root a stronghold from their lands.

With the destruction of the chiefdom, the Orcs scattered further into Skyrim or back into the mountains of Wrothgar. Orc clans descended from Yashnag's people have an intense hatred of the Kings of Skyrim. It's ironic that this enmity for the Nords has grown, even as the Orcs themselves have re-established ties with the peoples of western Tamriel that burned their first home hundreds of years ago.

Does not mean they would always support the Empire, however.

Empire is the ones that recognized them as equals. Many Orcs join the Legion to see the world or master their smithing craft. Orcs serve in the Legions because the Legion benefits them.

Orcs are considered some of the finest soldiers in the Emperor's service. They care little for politics, more for smashing. Legion looks out for them, like when their Kingdom was sacked two Legions stepped into harms way to provide assistance.

I was probably going to stick with Nord anyways. Orcs are too ugly for my tastes.
