I know, You know
Alright so just to preface, I'm a student with a budget. I recently bought a laptop not a very expensive one and was just wondering, as I'm not tech savy, if it could run Skyrim.

Here's the info from the site where I bought it,
Key Features and Benefits:
  • AMD E1-2100 accelerated processor
    1.0GHz, 1MB L2 Cache

  • 4GB DDR3 SDRAM system memory
Gives you the power to handle most power-hungry applications and tons of multimedia work

  • 500GB SATA hard drive
Store 333,000 photos, 142,000 songs or 263 hours of HD video and more

  • SuperMulti DVD Burner
Watch movies and read and write CDs and DVDs in multiple formats

  • 10/100Base-T Fast Ethernet, 802.11b/g/n Wireless LAN
Connect to a broadband modem with wired Ethernet or wirelessly connect to a WiFi signal or hotspot with the 802.11b/g/n connection built into your PC

  • AMD Radeon HD 8210 Graphics
    With HDMI capabilities
My hopes aren't very high with it. I just wanted to know. Thanks.

Are you saying it only has 1.0 gHz? you might be able to play it on Low if your willing to sacrifice graphics and by that I am reffering to Low and Minimal Windowed mode with Hialgoboost as the minumun requirements are set to 2.gHz

My labtop had 2.20 gHz and could only get under 20 FPS whcih was laggy but I also played with High Textures and several graphic mods

The Hardrive is Big Enough same as what my Labtop had you also have the same amount of Ram however your graphics card is a radeon mine was only an Intel so that might benifit you a little bit

Yeah I figured it was wishful thinking at best.
It would have just been another unneeded distraction. Thanks for the replies.

actually dont give up there is a mod called Dos Skyrim that lowers the resolution down so far 2 the point where vanilla Morrowind would be more intense on the sytem, think runescape looking Skyrim

I went and looked that "DoS Skyrim" up; it's an ENB effect. All the meshes are the same size, and the effect makes the textures look like they're low resolution.

You realize that a texture at "2 x 2" would be 4 square pixels, right? That is literally too small for even old old old sprite games to use it for anything useful.
