Well guys, i have a character i am currently developing, a female Dark Elf, however for some reason, and i dont know why, it says in the destruction spells she does 20 points/sec with the flames spell. Now i have only put 2 perks in this tree, apprentice and 1st augmented flames.
She is currently at level 34 and all the other perks are in maxed illusion and pickpocket, some in sneak and some in alchemy, does anybody know why i am getting such a high damage rate with just flames, oh and im not using potions to get this either, or any type of enchantment.

I believe that the 20 points per second refers to the amount of Magica required to cast the spell. So if you have 200 points of Magica you could cast it for 10 seconds.

No the cost with my destruction level at 37 and the novice perk taken is 5 magicka per second for 20 damage per second. Its a pity im on Xbox or i would have done a screen shot, but cheers.

You said you have maxed out the Illusion tree? Well, there is a well known bug that causes the Illusion perk, "Aspect of Terror" to raise the power of Fire spells.

Ah i see, so i presume its also linked to the necromage perk in Re4storation if i go down that road as well later, and works in a similar manner. But hey thanxs so much, something i didnt know and will possibly use for my benefit in the future.
