Who here thinks that Bethesda should do a perk points DLC? Because they say that there's unlimited levels, but yet a cap at level 81 just cause there's nothing else to level up in the skill trees. I would like to have more than 80 gosh dang freaking perks and i think that if they do a DLC that gives from 20 extra points to all of them that would be nice(I wouldn't use all of them, but most of them i would), and the whole reason I'm saying this is that I don't want infinite health, stamina or magicka(like on all the mods I've seen) but i would like some more perk points. Also i bet it wouldn't even take that long to make and put out there for us players to use.

That is one of the most BUNK ideas ever. Once you are level 81 and have all perks maxxed why in tha hell would you need anymore? Or want anymore for that matter? You would just be going from god mode to really fluffing rediculous that you need to have +638% damage with two-handed weapons. just IMHO. due respects n such.

No what I'm talking about is, you have 16 skill trees like one handed, sneak etc. but only a limited amount of perk point's to spend. I'm not all into 16 hundred quadrillion damage or anything but i like to mess around and do random plops in skyrim and i think having the option to put all your perk point's into everything or just most of it would be better than having to strategically place point's into certain perks in order to actually survive anything bigger then a freaking rabbit!

A lot of people want the level cap to be raised. Me personally I wouldn't mind it. There are a few perks that I wish I can get but can't because Its too late. And I don't really feel like creating a different character.

hmm. I misunderstand this concept simply because of my unwillingness to continue with a char. after level 30.
apologies.

....Because they say that there's unlimited levels....
When did they say that?

Personally I don't see a need for more perk points. Even though as a practical matter you don't really have 80 perk points either because you have to break character to get the last dozen or more perk points, 60-65 perk points is more than enough to make many varied and viable builds for diverse play styles. There are actually many perk points that are weak and near worthless from a practical point of view (there are 11 of them in each of the One-handed and Two-handed perk trees alone).

If you want to make a different build you can make a new character. It's not as if it's hard to level the first 30 levels or so in the first place and you can also just save your game at strategic places before you make perk allocation decisions and reload old games to take your build in a different direction. The way some players go on you would think they have to sacrifice one of their fingers for every saved game they make beyond half a dozen or so.

think that would make build ideas pointless, thus making me lose interest in the game. I prefer specialized characters than a character that has all the perks.

but I guess slightly more wouldn't be too bad.

what is it with people stopping at level 30 to start a new character? you haven't even gotten halfway thru the game at that point.

That would remove the point of having character creation. If you are a master at everything their might as well be one race and no skill trees

because, for me anyway, I will marathon play a character for a couple days and then drop it like a rock for a week or two. I always come back forgetting main points in my roleplay so I just start over. Otherwise I will just get an idea of a dope character and restart to try it and ihate keeping multiple games so the other saves go byebye. OR I will be in game and realize I'm at an impass and decide that I need another build to either succeed at my goal or to justify my actions via roleplay.....Theres actually alot of factors for me. I just have a short attention span towards characters I guess.

Someone else already said it above, but an option to RESET perks would be nice. I had to play through 3 times to get my character just right, and would not have had to do so if there were a perk reset option. I don't know about extra perks though. Maybe just one or two extra would be nice, since level doesn't really matter in the game (it's all about where you put your perks), but I think it makes the game more satisfying when you have strengths AND weaknesses.

One thing I'd like is to reset my perks as mentioned above.
Had to restart my account like 4 times already having the right character I want to play with.
Still not working out :/
