For those of you who have done the quest chain, were now sanctioned in Dawnstar sanctuary. This questchain has been by far the best I have done yet! Is there any other chain (apart from the main story line) that measures up? Do you guys agree/disagree that this is one of the BEST quest chains in...
From your post I just figured out how to set up weapons on Left/Right on the D-Pad... I had been trying to figure it out and thought it wasn't possible... Thanks!
I completely agree. I have found that my Archer is way more fun to play, and interestingly enough, better at most of the quests I have done over my Destruction Mage! Plus, playing completely different is always great too as you see and control a different aspect of the game.
It is based upon either 1-H or Archery, not Conjuration. Your level of conjuration, whether it be 50 or 100 does not modify the damage of the bound weapon. Conjuration does have a perk though that increases the damage of your bound weapons and is a must have. All of your Archery/1-H damage perks...
Impact is a must if you are going to be using Destruction as your primary source of damage. You won't need Healing spells in one hand as your dual casting will obliterate any opponent before it touches you (except other mages). It's definitely not a waste and I advise you get Impact and Dual...
You will need to disenchant an item with those enchantments... I am not sure but I would hope there are other items you can destroy to get those enchants so you don't ruin the set. If not, you wont be wearing that set or pieces you destroy anyway as you have more armour from the Dragon set!
The only spells I'm working with is Conjure Bow and Muffle. I'm only going into Illusion far enough to get Silent Casting due to the conjured weapons. Muffle is also helping me as I continue to level up Sneak. I'm not using any other spell so I don't consider myself partly mage.
If you haven't...
You can craft either a set of Daedric/Bone Light armor, upgrade and then enchant it with +bow damage %. Also enchanting your bow with +damage % or elemental damage will increase it.
After looking over some things, I haven't had to use my 1H very often so I think I can get away with not spending any perks into that. I'm currently spending points on Archery/Sneak (Main), and then a few into Conjuration/Illusion. I have gotten my Magicka up to 140 as I needed some extra mana...
I've noticed that if there are NPC's around and are attacking the dragon, he lands more often. I think I'll need to get a Lightning Atronach to snipe him out of the sky for me!
I have to agree. It gives the game a sense of economical reality. Either spend your time going city to city, spend some talents in Speech to increase their capacity or sleep/wait 48 hours for them to replenish their gold.
I love it, I'm working on Illusion as well for Silent Casting, as I get caught trying to summon my bow by mobs all the time. I'm also going to get the Dual Casting Conjuration perk and a bit more Magicka so I can dual cast the bow so it lasts longer than 60 seconds. I'm only level 17 but the bow...
