    Don't forget that if you want to be a necro you can get some really crazy things going on with the highest level zombie spell. Its a permanent pet that when it dies the dead body is left. If you put items on the body and reanimate it then it has new gear.

    Have you put any points into Health? Also aside from fortifying my spell schools I tend to make sure I have some resistance on my armors. I have boots with 40% shock I got for being Arch-Mage that I all ways make sure I have on. That and a little fancy footwork can do wonders.
