    Do you ever find it necessary for your character to kill a few NPCs in a town?

    Killing Nazeem and Heimskr really makes Whiterun a tolerable city. Also, Jarl Balgruuf should be much more decisive. I don't like him a lot.

    New character/build idea (Shield mage)

    You won't miss the damage from dual casting that much, because you can still summon for help (Conjuration) or Calm or Frenzy enemies (Illusion). Also, once you unlock the Block Runner and Shield Charge perk, you'll have a fun time. Couple that with a few shouts and you are really good to go!

    I spend 15 - 30 min creating my char, and then I just stick with it. It's a waste of time (my opinion) to start over again and again, just because you aren't happy with the way your character looks.     What difficulty(s) setting do you play on?

    I started out on Novice. With a stealth archer. Now I play with Adept setting and leave it at that. The amount of equal fights I get is a lot of fun.

    I would add Illusion to the fray. Illusion just adds to the confusion already caused by well timed summon.
