    The level cap is because of the leveling equation. Bethesda didn't know the level cap was 81. That's why there is an achievement on Xbox for level 50. Also, the equation was not tested. So you got lucky. Bethesda thought the max level would be around 50. Imagine that..

    What is the best way to play this game?

    Personally, don't worry about looks.. You armor covers that up. Orcs are ugly, but the twohand skills and the double damage ability are amazing. Khajiit are cool, and great archers/assassins. Same as for ugly Wood Elves. Look up the starting powers for the most fun. :)
