Ubisoft Banning Certain Player-Made Quests In AC Odyssey

by on July 12, 2019

What’s this about quests being banned? How did that break the rules of Assassins’ Creed Odyssey?

Assassins’ Creed Odyssey has been very popular among players, including being able to make their own content and put it into the game. The mode itself is in beta, but some interesting content has come from it. However, Ubisoft has noticed that a lot of XP farming quests have come out. And as that would hurt the game, they are now banning all quests that do this:

“Since the launch of the beta we have noticed an increasing flow of ‘farming quests’, that exploit the tool to get large amounts of XP.” Reads the post from the AC community team. “These exploits risk jeopardizing the overall quality, integrity, and purpose of Story Creator Mode and results in less visibility for the creative, interesting and frankly fantastic community stories that have been published.”
