A lot of information regarding Zero Time Dilemma, the conclusion to the Zero Escape trilogy, has been released in the past week. The one thing we haven’t had is a release date, until today. Aksys Games announced Zero Time Dilemma would be out June 28, 2016.
Aksys is the one publisher of Japanese titles that hasn’t forgotten about PS Vita. The game will come out on 3DS and on the neglected Sony platform, just as the second Zero Escape game, Virtue’s Last Reward, did. But it’s also picked up a new platform: the PC. A version of Zero Time Dilemma for Windows will be sold on Steam at the same time, which is odd, because there are no plans to release PC ports of the previous two games at all.
There’s also a new trailer! A slightly different art style won’t be the only change in this new chapter….many scenes will be fully animated with voices, as opposed to the static cutscenes with text that appeared in the first two games. Watch the trailer below to find out what that looks (and sounds) like.
Zero Time Dilemma will be out June 28, 2016 for 3DS, PS Vita and PC.
