  • Wow: Final Fantasy XV Has 16 Different Preorder DLC Trailers final fantasy xvIn the race to satisfy their bottom line, video game companies have been going a tad overboard with preorder incentives, and Square-Enix has just pushed the envelope with Final Fantasy XV. They put up the trailers for their preorder DLC content today, and there are a Malboro-choking SIXTEEN of them.
This, however, doesn’t mean you have to preorder FFXV sixteen times to get everything….many of these trailers show material from the same packs. The actual number of separation is more like four or five across different retailers. Which is still too much.
For those of us who won’t be preordering this game ...
  • Release Date Confirmed For Dragon Quest 8 On 3DS dragon quest 8A few months ago we had to report that the portable version of Dragon Quest 8 had been sidelined due to the release of Dragon Quest 7 being so close to it. The move was understandable, but disappointing nonetheless.
Since then we haven’t known when Nintendo planned to put the game out…until today. The company confirmed they would be releasing Dragon Quest 8 on 3DS January 20, 2017. Which isn’t that far off, so….good.
It’s mostly the same game, but there is a fair amount of new content….more story, new side quests, two new characters to recruit, full voice acting, StreetPass functionality, ...

Then the surprise announcement was made that the XBox One version would support mods, just like the PC version does. But after a few negotiations behind closed doors, that decision was reversed and Sony announced mods WOULD be possible on the PS4 version. And there was much rejoicing!
    Then the game came out.
Since Skyrim’s release on Friday, players have discovered the number of ...
  • Sora’s Visiting The World Of Final Fantasy soraSora, the main character of the Kingdom Hearts series, and the various denizens of the Final Fantasy universe should know each other pretty well by now. That’ll change soon when Sora stops by in World of Final Fantasy, the superdeformed RPG that was just released for Playstation 4 and Vita. Once a free update hits early next year, you’ll gain the ability to summon Sora to fight with you in battle wherever you go. ...
  • Fix On The Way For Skyrim’s Compressed Audio skyrimThose who have been playing the newly-released Skyrim Special Edition with headphones on the PC may have noticed some sound effects seem more janky than usual. After multiple users confirmed on Reddit they had the same problem, user LasurArkinshade looked into the code and found that, for an unknown reason, the sound files in the Special Edition are heavily compressed. (The original Skyrim used no sound compression.)
If the Special Edition is obviously far larger in size than the original, why has the sound been compressed? More bizarre still, there is no report of the Playstation 4 edition of Skyrim having ...
