Surprise — Bioware has released a version of Dragon Age Inquisition that is 100% free. If you don’t have the game yet, the perfect way to try it out is now here.
You might be wondering “If this version is free, what’s different? Meaning, in what way is it handicapped?” It is, but surprisingly, not so much that you can’t get any enjoyment out of it. The single-player mode is limited to six hours. If you want to play single-player longer than that, you must pay the full price. But the multiplayer mode will remain open forever.
That’s correct; multiplayer in Dragon Age: Inquisition has essentially become free. You can play with other users that already own the full game, with no issues. You’ll also be able to download the multiplayer DLC packs for the game that are already free.
