OK - Another WOW mement just now - Taking Lydia along as my "Pack-mule" since she is sworn to carry my burdens :-) Loaded her up with "Stuff" one being a mages staff to sell later on. Went into another Cave, was sneaking in when a skeleton started to attack.. raised my sword then BAM!!! a...
That is real life - horses will move away from danger - just look around and you will find them - in Real life I run a ranch - if you hop off a horse, they will wander off to graze - if they get spooked - they run for a while then stop to graze - for me the horse simulation is very realistic
Yes the horse should be able to out run a wolf in a fair race -but only after unloading the rider - but most wolf, bear, mountian lion attacks are ambushes - horse would rear-up drop rider - let bear, wolf or mountain lion munch on rider while said horse will start grazing from a safe distance
Might I suggest Decaf for the originator of this thread - and maybe a different venue for releasing steam such as building a vocabulary so as not to resort to cussing -
Giants are a snap.... Use your archery skills and have plenty of room to run. Shoot a few arrows, run..shoot a few more , run. ... They go down real easy. Now meleeing with a giant just doesn't make sense in my book...:-)
Ok - not a WOW moment, but a pretty funny one - I had just returned down from the 7000 steps and was hunting in the woods after I killed a dragon - shot an Elk and then off to my right a freakin Ox cart fell from the sky - crashed through the trees to the ground - must have fallen off the 747...
I actually took a giant down solo...no npcs, really surprised me that I could. Used my bow shot a few, ran, shot a few more, ran, well you get the idea..... If they can't catch you, they can't send you into orbit
