The Empire has become lame-sauce compared to how it was in Morrowind. I happily joined the Legion in Morrowind when I was little and recently. (ironically with a character named Wulfgar Stormcloak) Their armor looked a lot niftier, too. Now they're just silly tan men in leather getting smashed...
You make good points. Thank you for explaining, but next time, I'd appreciate if you didn't assume things about me. Even still, I like the Stormcloaks better than the Imperial Legion. They tried to kill me, so.. Off with Tullius's head.
I hope they kill off the Empire entirely in the next Elder Scrolls game, or evolve it into something new and cooler as the times change. Also, slavery? I'd like proof of that, friend. The Imperials seem to be fond of torturing people and executing without trial. How noble.
Lies. Imperials have threatened me when I neared their castle. They're just as rude as the Stormcloaks. Not to mention they attacked me when I rode past them on the road. Shot arrows at my beloved horse.
I almost always end up joining the Stormcloaks. Ulfric is definitely the more charismatic of the two generals, and something about him makes me smile. I've only ever joined the Imperials when roleplaying. They're kind of dickheads.
I use fast travel often, though I find that the game is funner when I decide to walk or run there. Sometimes, though, I'm just too impatient to march across the entirety of Skyrim.
