I almost wish more of mine have been closer to towns it would make it much easier although the thrill of seeing a dragon and frantically searching for some cover from which to fire at it with my bow is unmatched
Yea I thought fire against frost would work fairly well. I dont use magic and so i pretty much only use shouts like fire breath if i need fire damage.

Hmm when i think about it i guess i do sometimes fast travel between towns if i'm doing something like searching shops for a certain item, the benefits from walking everywhere are quite good in terms of added loot and skills

Yea a dragons attention span is rather short and just about any natural wildlife or summoned creatures will take the heat off you. Makes it rather easy to take one down with a bow from behind a nice piece of cover just in case he done toying with the wildlife :D
I have only crashed once and the shadows got a bit buggy once but a loading screen to enter a town fixed that. apart from that i have played about 15 hours no problem :)
I was finishing a quest just outside of a town (folkreath i believe) and a dragon swooped down and burnt my quest target to a crisp.. quest failed :-( not cool mr. dragon but the people in the town helped me kill him :) and another soul for me ha!
