    Miraak is glitched..

    I was having the exact same glitch where I would absorb the soul instead of him, but FatesDawn's solution worked for me. After you get him below a certain amount of health and he turns invincible, kills the dragon, you get the soul, he freezes, blah blah blah, go to the outside of the platform...
