I agree, I can't get past their baby faces, but if you are a good character designer you can get past that with a little know how

I'm not neccessarily hating against bretons. In fact, I probably look the most like a breton irl

The racial bonus for Bretons totally kicks butt, first of all. And as far as looks, the elves offend my sense of aesthetics more than any other Skyrim race. They look like someone went a little too far with the warp tool in photoshop. I like imagining my elves as at the very least kindly to look upon. I think all the other races look about what I'd expect them to, given the graphics available when the games came out. But the elves... ugh. I think certain of the Breton presets may lean a little hobbit-y but nothing so freakish to make me not want to play them.

GO BEASTIES!!! They just make me feel like I actually am in a fantasy world, while the humans are simple common place and the elves just aren't as unique because there are three elf races.

They're Chimer warped by Malacath instead of the Dark elves, who are Chimer warped by Azura. TES just found a way to wrap the three standard European fantasy races, elves, dwarves, and orcs, into their elves or mer.

Yes, but four races? I can scarcely tell an imperial from a breton or nord. Then there's Redguards, who're just humans of African descent. Why isn't there an Asian TES race too instead of just three similar pasty ones?

tl;dr: humans are boring, it's a fantasy game, be a fantastical species (we really should say species and not race, that just confuses the issue)

I spent a lot of time trying to figure out how you had a list of 12 instead of 10 and I've figured it out.
The original post said playable races and the Falmer aren't a playable race.
You put Dunmer at 2 & 4 (interestingly enough with different explanations.)
