Problems running skyrim. Please help! May 23, 2012
I just got Skyrim for the PC yesterday, and I've realized that my computer seems to lag on it horribly, I have a pavilion dv7 429us laptop, with 6 GB of RAM, apparently I went so a website that checks to see if my computer is fast enough to run Skyrim. I was placed inbetween the two bars and it said that I passed, I went to check what was wrong with it and the only thing that didn't reach the recommended settings was my video card, more in detail with the dedicated video RAM. I have a total of 500 MB going towards the video ram when the game recommends 1 GB. If anyone knows any way of fixing this please help, I hate the feeling that I just wasted $60 on a game my computer can't play smoothly.
