My Guide To Making 100,000 In A Week (Xbox Only) Min Glitch Advantages Part 1 Aug 1, 2012
So this is my Xbox guide to getting filthy stinking rich on Skyrim...so rich you never need to worry about cash again. It Can be accomplished in a week for the overactive players...and the addicts? well they wont need my guide, theres a reason they are addicts xD This guide can be started right at the beggining (Advised) right after leaving Helgen and being directed to Riverwood...
BEWARE...INVOLVES LOTS OF SITTING AND WATCHING YOUR SCREEN...IF YOU HAVE A LOW CONCENTRATION SPAN YOU WILL GET BORED...But to the grinders...Enjoy
WARNING: REMEMBER TO SAVE OFTEN!
Step 1: StorageStorage is essential...and hard to come by at the start...but we wont let that stop us!! So head a little West of Riverwood and on your compass eventually you will see a house shape...approach this. When discovered its called Anise's Cabin...Just An Old Lady Is Living Here...Hmmm What To Do With A old lady living in the woods??? Thats Right...An Arrow To The Head (or preferble execution)...No Bounty Will Come Of This. In Her House Is A Door To The Cellar...Down Here Is your first alchemy table and a few ingredients...plus a cupboard to store unwanted armor/ blacksmithing ingredients/ books Etc. Once You Have Killed Anise Its Time To Get Rich!!WARNING: REMEMBER TO SAVE OFTEN!
Step 2: TransmutationTransmutation Is A Spell that turns iron ore into silver ore, then silver ore into gold ore. This Is One Of the most necessary Tools In Our Journey To Riches . I First Heard Of This Spell While clearing a cave and hearing bandits talking about turning wood to gold...being a nosy parker i decided to google the wood to gold spell....later to find there wasnt one, but was a transmute iron to gold spell. So Now We Have Our Storage Its Time To Get This Spell... First I Advise Clearing Embershard Mine, Which Is A Little East Of Anise's Cabin...SHould Be Visible On The Compass As Two Hammers...This Is Strictly For Armor/Weapons/Arrows!! You May Need The Weapons In Our Next Place...Once Embershard Mine Is Cleared Of Bandits...Just Pick Up A Pickaxe And mine The 10-15 Iron Nodes (always lost count xD) SOmetimes this is best done with brightness max for easier visability of the nodes...once done you should have roughly 25-45 iron ores...save them for now! Now Exit And Head north East To Whiterun, And From Whiterun Head NorthNorth West To A Bandit Camp ( On the map its north of whiterun plains, And Shows As A Tent Picture.) This Is Called Halted Stream Camp, another mine but rather rich in iron ores...yet again roughly 10-15 Iron Nodes to mine...When You Reach The End Of The Mine You Will See A Book Stand With A Spell Tome on Named ''Transmute: Iron To Gold'' This Is Our Key To Greatness!!!! Learn It And Head Back To Whiterun!WARNING: REMEMBER TO SAVE OFTEN!
Step 3: BlacksmithingNow Before Starting turnng iron to gold...you could if you want to head to a mine S.W of skyrim, Not far from Markarth, Called Kolskeggr Mine (Rich In Gold Ores,Skips the long transmutation stage), But I Advise Only Experienced Players to head here now as The Forsworn (local bandits) can Be Abit Difficult at low level! If the Unexperienced player wanted to come here, they would be best going to whiterun stables and catching the cart to markarth and walking over east till mine is visable. If you have done this, or not, we are heading to whiterun next...as i earlier warned this bit involves alot of waiting as we can only cast transmute once...So i find if i transmute, wait an hour, my magic is full again...so transmute, wait, transmute, wait until all of you iron ores have turned to gold ore...then head to the smelter (as soon as you run into whiterun, its the black furnace on your right, at first building.) This Is Our HQ For buisness!!! It Costs 2x Gold Ores For 1 Gold Ingot...so ay we have 60 gold ores...thats 30 ingots...but the beauty behind this trick is how much gold is worth in blacksmithing experience right now ( i went from 10 to 30 in one sitting, but did farm the mines a few times before transmuting!) So head To the blacksmith forge...Highlight jewellery...and we are making gold rings as they bring the best profit (unless you have a few spare gems to make gold gemmed necklaces) but otherwise gold rings...now we get 2x gold rings for 1 gold ingot...so really you get a gold ring for every ore! so turn all your gold ores onto gold rings!! Now To Make Our first profit...follow the path down to the market and head into the general goods store to sell rings (dont know why blacksmith vendors dont buy jewellery
)now you might make 1000-3000 gold here...when all rings are gone...sleep for a whole month (yes a whole month, need mines to respawn) now this is real easy if you know the xbox quick skip tip, as soon as you press ''A'' to sleep, press the xbox button on your controller...if you turn your tv up, you will here the click.....click.....click turn into a click.click.click, making skipping hours real easy! After sleeping for a month...fast travel to both mines and reclear the ores (expect trouble at halted stream camp as this is involved in a questline and respawns bandits, embershard does not!) Now Repeat this process until we have 5000g...you may need to use anise cabin if overload of weapons/ armors or even trash!WARNING: REMEMBER TO SAVE OFTEN!
Step 4: 5000 Gold = A Free HouseNow We have to complete a couple of quests to make the house available...so follow the main questline (informing whiterun about dragons) until you have defeated your first dragon, not long, 1hr 30m max!! after defeating the dragon head to whiterun and talk to Jarl Balgruf (think thats his name) he will make you his thane! Enabling you to purchase property, and he gives you a housecarl, a loyal follower, her name is lydia and after this moment never left my side (apart from dark brotherhood quest)now an xbox glitch enables us to get this house free! yes free, well you dont think im going to make you sleep all these hours to give 5000g away did you?
The trick is to find ''proventus Avenicci/Avecinni (one of them lol, always get confused) bedroom...its the first door on the right in the jarls quarters i believe...he has a bed and a wardrobe right next to it...wait here till 3am and just keep skipping single hours until he is sleeping in his bed...when you see him save your game! once saved, rudely wake him up and ask to buy a house...he will give a option, something like ''are you sure'' as soon as you click yes...press B to exit coversation...turn around a put ALL your gold in the wardrobe...he will give you the key but theres no gold to take for it! once you are sure hes finished tak9ing take your gold back and ''Voila'' you have a key...now if you remember where the blacksmith was in whiterun, your house is next door! when you first eneter it looks pathetic and no way worth the 5k you didnt pay
Now head back to proventus...find him sleeping and do the same process for the house upgrades!!WARNING: REMEMBER TO SAVE OFTEN!
Step 5: The Long Bit (if you thought transmuting was the long bit your wrong
)Now This May Take About 3 Real Life Days To Do This Step But This Is The long Bit, But this is the climax stage of our road to riches! you need to keep doing the mining, transmuting, crafting and selling until we reach 80 blacksmithing...can take long, depends how hard you concentrate and grind! but once we have 80 blacksmith skill...we can put our perk on ebony (providing you have been putting perks up the right side of the blacksmith tree) now ebony is the money maker!WARNING: REMEMBER TO SAVE OFTEN!
