• Character Adventure Diary - Aldinlor - Entry 2 Jul 29, 2012

  Here's my second entry. This one will likely be longer since I'm not writing it starting at 11:30pm and going till almost 1 am. And since I got SO much free time to play Skyrim I'm going to roll a few of these out quite often if I don't get bored of Aldinlor. At the time we have started this entry Aldinlor is level 3. Just to give you an idea of progression.
  
  I have woken from my night's rest in the dead witch Anise's cabin. Faendal and I are continue to travel North to Riverwood then on to Whiterun. Hopefully the travel turns out in our favor and we don't face any unexpected hindrances.
  
  I have returned to Riverwood. After collecting payment from Lucan Valerius I sold the treasures I found in Bleak Falls Barrow. Lucan didn't have much to sell me back but I did get some more spell tomes of the man. I quickly master the spells clairvoyance, frostbite, lesser ward, and oakflesh. I will travel to Whiterun now and hope to gain an audience with jarl to alert these fools of the dragon attack on Helgen.
  
  I have met a man named Faldrus on the road. He marked the location of the shrine of the Daedric Lord Azura on my map. I will travel there if I ever get closer to her shrine and have the time to do so.
  
  Met the sell swords of the Companions just outside the city. After assisting them with a giant attack they suggested I join their ranks. I told them I was not going to waste my time like they do.
  
  I have arrived in town at dusk. No point in ddesturbing the jarl at this hour. I will find a place to rest for the night in Whiterun.
  
  I have stopped an an inn known as the Bannered Mare. I will spend the night here and then visit the jarl in the morning.
  
  I have reached the castle of Dragonsreach. On my way here I met a mad man screaming his heresy about Talos. I will need to report him the next time I meet the Thalmor.
  
  I have alerted the jarl of the threat, he introduced me to a man named Farengar Secret-Fire, the court-wizard, he explained the purpose of the Dragon Stone I found. I have now been requested to help with a near by dragon attack at Western Watchtower.
  
  The Western Watchtower is in ruins. Not surprised. Time to see if there is any sign of a dragon still near by.
  
  We found the dragon an have killed it. After killing it I seemed to have absorbed the dragons soul. according to one of the guards I am something called Dragonborn. I now have the ability to "Shout as the dragons do". That word, "fus", has some use to it after all. I will report the dragons death to the jarl either way.
  
  I picked up the quest 'In My Time Of Need' after entering Whiterun. This may or may not be something I bother with.
  
  I have alerted the jarl of the dragons defeat. He has suggested I visit the Greybeards of High Hrothgar to learn of this Dragonborn thing. I am also now Thane of Whiterun. Maybe now these idiot Nords will show me respect. I have sent Faendal home and will take my new housecarl Lydia with me instead.
  
  On my way out of Whiterun some thugs hired by someone named Moira attacked me. I killed them without hesitation. I will now travel to Ivarstead and then climb to High Hrothgar.
  
  My travel to Ivarstead was uneventful. I have arrived here after dark and will rent a bed for the night at the local in before climbing the 7,000 steps. I have offered to help Klimmek by making his delivery for him at the top of the steps.
  
  That will mark the end of the second entry. I may write a third entry today. I certainly have the time to if I so chose. I'll decide on the later. For now I am going to play a different character who I am not using for these diaries.
